The Home Depot Rental Center at Grand Junction

When it's time to make the leap into a new home improvement project, you might not have everything you need in the garage or shed. Don't let that stop you when you can stop by our Grand Junction Tool Rental Center.

Tool Rental
Start your next DIY project with confidence and the best tools for the job. Let The Home Depot Grand Junction Tool Rental Center expand your toolbox with the tools you don't have at home. You can rent the tools you need and bring them back when the job is done. In fact, if you found the tools so useful that you didn't want to return them, we have used tools available for purchase. The retired rental tools are discounted compared to the new items in our aisles.

Leaf Blowers
Try renting a leaf blower to keep up with your yard. Fall will be in full swing soon, so have a leaf blower ready. It's much easier than raking. It's also great to use on hardscaping surfaces, concrete sidewalks, and driveways. Clear your yard by using handheld, backpack, or walk-behind leaf blowers.

Chainsaws
Maintain the beauty and safety of the woody shrubs and trees in your yard with a rental chainsaw. Since you might not need this tool every day, try renting it when prepping your yard for a new season. When the leaves are off the trees, it's much easier to spot any troublesome branches and do basic trimming. We carry both electric and gas chainsaws, so you're sure to find one that fits the job.

Heaters
If you don't enjoy working or being outside in cooler temps, check out our heater rentals. Portable heaters keep outdoor events, barns, or workspaces warm. They are safer than torch patio heaters because portable heaters don't have an open flame, and they also blow the hot air for more coverage. We carry electric, gas, and propane heaters in various sizes. Pair this with good outdoor lighting and a jacket, and you can extend work or play well into the evening hours.

Frequently Asked Questions about Rentals

How do I know if I can rent the tool I want?

Stop by your local Rental Center to see what tools you can rent. You can also call first to inquire about a tool, or look at our tool rental page to see if it's offered at your favorite store. If it's not, check another nearby store or call our Rental Center associates to locate where that tool might be available. For additional information on tool rentals, read these Tool Rental FAQs, including equipment terms and conditions.

Can I rent a tool for a week?

You can rent a tool for four hours or more. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small DIY projects may only require a short rental period, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the day, week, or month, too. If you need it longer than anticipated, call the Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.

When do I need to return the tools?

You can return the tools early if you finish your project ahead of schedule, but on time works, too. As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Please clean off any built-up dirt from the tool as well. If you need them longer, call the rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.

Do saw rentals come with saw blades?

Yes, power saw rentals generally come with blades, but we do recommend that you purchase your own. You'll likely not get a sharp blade when you rent, as most people won't leave one on there when they return it. However, you might get lucky and receive an excellent blade on the saw. As there's no guarantee, it's better to buy a suitable blade, just in case you need it.
