AVOID appliance purchases at all costs!
False delivery promises, damaged product, failure to install anti-tip feature on stove, delivery rescheduled twice but credit card charged immediately - an interest free loan for HD, APATHY from most managers saying it was a homedepot.com problem not a store problem (I purchased in store), friendly appliance sales team but messed up my order causing major delivery hassles and additional delays, lied to by delivery manager, extended warranty deceit, rude delivery crews, delivery team refused to remove all of the sticky tape residue all over my black appliance and I was told it’s my problem by delivery team and to use a chemical I can’t use bc of my disabilities, scratched product, left empty screw holes in top of fridge, Whirlpool and HD reps disagree on delivery contract obligations, store mgr apathy - sounds like you just need to cancel your order (bc he was too busy dealing with a “security” (shoplifting) issue, promised a partial refund a never processed it - had to return to store a month later to get it, lied to in email by appliance supervisor, tried to share concerns with a mgr so they could fix the issues and he hung up on me (was perfectly polite, not rude at all). There is what I consider FRAUD happening across HD regarding customers and that is what I was trying to explain so HD could take the opportunity to fix it and the mgr hung up.
It has taken me 20-30 hours on the phone and driving to the store to work out a fridge and stove purchase after the sale was completed in store. HD had a pass the buck attitude 80%+ of the time. Two years or so ago, my freezer sale was perfect. Not this time and NEVER AGAIN!!! In the end I was given a partial refund for hours snd hours of work to resolve issues and physical pain for rescheduled deliveries, but my new fridge looks USED! I would have preferred a first quality product, seamless delivery like with my freezer two years ago, and to have paid full price than to have gone through the ordeal I did!
Roj is an assistant mgr who issued a final refund in store mid Feb 2025. He listened and acted, genuinely cared, but for me that should have been the store’s initial response and I can’t see HD in my future. I did ask for the VP of this region to call me in the online survey I completed to once again share how what I consider as FRAUD to be taking place across the corporation and to show him my PROOF. I had a brief, cheerful conversation with him as he huddled with store employees just after I paid for two appliances and was leaving the store 11/27/24. I was delighted then, not so much now. I hope he calls to learn how his company is CHEATING customers regarding extended warranties. I bought two of them and was cheated out of six weeks of coverage total and had to stay on the phone and send emails and it took HOURS to finally get it corrected, but HD didn’t care!! I was lied to in email by HD! This is a corporate wide problem HD hopes customers don’t figure out! I bought two extended warranties bc my salesperson, Ed (super nice, needs additional training bc his lack of training caused the delivery issues I had), told me his refrigerator died THE DAY after his warranty expired. Whirlpool and HD employees admitted they had heard of this happening, too.
If possible, I will update this review if and when the VP calls me. Not the store mgr or district mgr, but the VP. I’ve tried the other avenues ad nauseam and am over it.
Buyer beware! Proceed at your own risk. Avoid stress and damaged product and purchase where service exists bc it is NOT at HD!

Happy Batfan!
Very pro-Halloween decor fanatics and very helpful staff, especially Tom who helped me find a spooky guy off the top shelf. Very friendly staff, a great HD location.

Think twice before having an appliance installed
Their installation team delivered a French door refrigerator, first they told me they were doing me a favor by installing the unit and they should have left it in the porch. They were in a rush, did not turn the water back on. Left the unit covered in the plastic so I could not test it before they left. They damaged my floors by sliding the unit instead of lifting it. They scratched the door during the install. Although I paid to have the old unit removed, they left it in the middle of the room. When they removed the old hose they just laid it on the wood floor, leaving puddles of water.

Be nice if you could use different delivery company , I’m handy cap, live by myself. Now I have a big box just sitting in the room, not even able to tell if there was any damage . Other than that I guess everything is good

Wonderful assistance
Often in ‘Big Bix Stores’ it is difficult to find someone to assist you. This is not true at this Home Depot. I was greeted shortly after entering the store, directed to the area for the product I wanted. An employee was in that section , helped me with questions. After selection to purchase I was again assisted at the checkout.

Will not return Trax decking material
Do not use Home depot for Trex decking. Spent over 8k there and tried returning 8 boards. 4 were delivered damaged, other 4 were extra. Throught the whole process I was told by every employee if there were any extras just bring them back. Well, I did and they are refusing refund or even a store credit. Never shop here for anything

New refrigerator
I was shopping for a new refrigerator. Barry was helpful without being pushy. He spent all the time I needed to compare models, features and price. He made the whole process easy and less stressful. This was my first large purchase from Home Depot, but it won't be my last.

Big thanks to Clay for his attention to a difficult situation. Flooring purchase wouldn't save due to outside computer problems. After many attempts by Clay and others and some phone calls no success. He was able to bypass all that and order directly from store stock. Had good luck with Home Depot flooring in the past and look forward to a good experience going forward with this installation.

Great place for custom shades and blinds!

Knowledgeable Staff
If you can find one of the floor staff, they are pretty good at knowing where things are located. Most have a knowledge of a variety of trades which comes in handy. A competitor's store a short distance away have young floor staff that are not as experienced.

Need more staff
You need more staff that understands the workings of your products. On my previous visit 4 people helped me order a tub, fixtures for tub and shower. Unfortunately they didn't know your products so the tub stopper that was ordered was a sink stopper. So I had to return. The $500+ Kohler shower set needs a shower valve/on/off and temperature control piece but that wasn't included.

Excellent customer service
The customer service agent at the front desk, patiently explained to us the process for ordering an item that could be assembled at the store. The customer service agent at the lighting center patiently and thoroughly explained what we needed to know about LED lighting adjustments on each bulb.

Stock issues
Good store, helpful employees and always clean. The reason this Home Depot doesn't get 5 stars is due to lack of stock. I order online and pickup a lot. This store is out of items quite a bit, when every other Home Depot in town has the same items in stock. It is a smaller store and that might be the reason but it's frustrating

Best place for tools
Home Depot is the best option for power tools. They always have the tool I need when I need it. It's a shame they have to lock everything up now, but it's usually easy to find someone to get a tool for you. I was a little upset when they stopped selling gas powered lawn equipment but they have brought them back. Milwaukee and Echo are two of the best.
The store is always clean and organized so it's easy to find what I'm looking for.

Fantastic customer service
This specific store has consistently maintained fabulous customer service. My family and I are always greeted in a genuinely kind manner and offered help throughout the store without breaching borderline harrassment. The employees seem to truly enjoy the company and position they have which reflects in their caring demeanor and attitude.
