When does The Home Depot Black Friday 2021 event start at the Eagle Creek store?
Our Black Friday event will run at our Eagle Creek store and online between November 3 and December 1. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.
We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. In addition to training our associates on social distancing, we've placed distancing markers at some of our checkout counters and are making overhead announcements on our store PA systems asking customers to practice social distancing.

They had my drill for 6 weeks. I called 5 times. I was told waiting on parts. The last time I called I talked to a manager. They were waiting on parts still. 2 hours later they called my drill was repaired and ready for pick up. I got there they say they checked it they found nothing wrong with it. I asked then why did you keep it 6 weeks. They didn't know what to say. Then said its fixed. After I called a manager up. Very bad experience for me. I had already had it there 1 time before

This is my go to store because of convenience to my home (the closest big box to my home). I do not think that this store's pricing strategy is appropriate to it's location. It is considerably higher (7-10%) higher on most items than competitors. I am informed on the retail market for my area. This location is in an area where, I believe, they could capture more market focusing on volume, especially for convenience hardware/home improvement products. None of their departments stand out as the best in comparison to their nearest competitors in the area. The lawn/garden, especially their outdoor area should be much better stocked and managed earlier than they have for the last 4 years. I am not talking about outdoor live plants. They do an excellent job with them, but I see far too many clearance and dead racks than I see at other stores. They selection and stocking is great. In house care may need some work. The other gardening and landscaping needs are inadequately stocked in a timely way and there are not enough strong employees taking care of it. There were 100's of pallets all the way around a side parking lot and behind the store of products that should have been placed in completely empty spots. This was on a 70 degree sunny day. Clear pricing sticker/signage and posted, advertised pricing was not present. On this same visit, they had one retail checkout lane open and at the same time the whole self-checkout lane was roped off and closed. This may sound like a laundry list of complaints, but I also want to say that I believe the employees and managers do an ADEQUATE job for most of their operation to give customers an adequate experience. I only hope for them to become more successful. more popular, and more profitable. An adequate effort for an adequate customer experience does not create an environment for manager/employee culture to create an industry leader or to be the best home improvement big box for our area. ON a positive note, the tool rental department IS THE BEST of any I have ever dealt with for the whole city of INDIANAPOLIS.
