I generally do not complain but geeze...is it too much to ask for assistance while shopping? Apparently at this store it is. Not only are employees unfamiliar with items, they show distain for being asked about them. And by all means don't ask for help lifting an 80lb bag of cement into your car. Your cashier apparently should not have to follow through on an overhead page while you wait 30 minutes for help. This would mean time away from her cell phone. The looks she gave me as I waited QUIETLY let me know she had done all she intended to do. When I said I would like to return the item as I couldn't get it into my car alone she wasted no time pointing me in the direction of customer service (where a bunch of able bodied people were standing by the way.)

I ordered water heater online. It arrived beat up and damaged. When attempting to return to store same day, manager wanted me to reapply for higher credit limit so she could charge my credicard again for the replacement water heater, while the original purchase charge was still pending on my credit card! After asking for higher store manager, Jaime (who claimed to be a manager) came up with the bright idea of voiding the item under warranty as damaged and allowing me to pay the difference for a replacement item of higher value! I spent over 2 hours in this store! Had i not asked for a higher manager, I honestly believe she would have let me leave the store without a replacement thinking I had to wait 3-5 bus days for the original charges to fall off of my credit card so I could then purchase a replacement water heater. Absolutely the poorest customer service I have experienced in a while! I'll never go there again abd promise to tell everyone I know about this experience. No apologies were even offered when we left store!

Ruthie is now our go to person all our appliance needs.

Most of the cashiers and service desk staff spend way too much time looking at their phones and when you approach them they act like you are a huge bother. Included.givimg you big exhales. So over it!!!

The staff at the Pro desk are always courteous and professional. They help me to find what I need and advise me on how to place my orders to be processed in a timely manner.

The staff is very helpful and attentive. The store is well organized.

Home Depot in Hermitage, Tennessee has always provided friendly, efficient service. I have never had a problem when I shop there.

Lester was super friendly and helpful. Made our trip a pleasure.

Lester H provided exceptional service for me to purchase a new saw. He went and retrieved a cart and helped me load the saw. Then he accompanied me to checkout. He offered to walk to truck and help me load too but I told him I could manage. Employees at other stores will not personally assist patrons anymore - all they do is point to a direction for you to locate and decide what product to buy. Lester H. Is an extremely valuable asset to Home Depot!!

Hermitage TN Home Depot is my go to place for all my building and hardware needs.

I have an experience for more than 9 years using this store the store has quality products and the staffs are very good and collaborative.

Miserable experience due to lack of staff (to be fair, it was 5 pm on a Tuesday) until Derrick's friendly face and helpful manner made it all better. Such a nice guy.

Return of a moving box was refused because one corner was dinged up. I explained that it was that way when it was delivered to us. The employee's reply was "We can't sell it, so we can't take it back." I asked if how someone could get a refund when the item was damaged in shipping. Her response was "You don't. You bought it and we can't take it back if it's damaged." I explained again that it was damaged when it was delivered. Got the same answer: "You bought it, so it's yours." I told her I didn't need it any more since our move was cancelled and they could just throw it away. She said, "No, you have to take it with you. It's yours."

I returned some materials and the customer service woman Brianna was just rude and disrespectful

They have a wide variety of products and if you are not happy with what you bought they go out of their way to make sure you get what you want. They also price match which is nice so your not paying more than anywhere else. The workers are always helpful and friendly!

I had made a return for $507.64 and after waiting 3 weeks and numerous calls to the store, I go and speak to Michele. Which ends in her refusing to let me purchase materials so she didn’t get negative reviews

I had the best experience with a cashier today. His name is James (Jimmy). I hope this reaches him cause he was a God sent for me today. He was absolutely the best in his treatment with me and other customers. You don't get that in today's world and he over delivered with his upbeat and respectful attitude.

If you are on the fence about or new to the area and are looking for help from a home improvement location, this Home Depot has been consistently helpful in my visits there.

SHACARA is the best. She went out of her way to make sure that our order was taken care of

Jim G (in paint section) and Michelle, the store manager, went out of their way to help me. My Mom is losing her memory but still very functional in other ways. She bought 4 cans of the paint I wanted, not remembering that I have severe allergic reactions (coughing, wheezing, headaches, asthma) to ANY paint except BEHR Pro Performance low odor. It’s just the only paint on the market I can tolerate. She bought 4 cans of the wrong kind. I asked if I could exchange and told them why. Jim G went out of his way to help me and made sure he got approval from the store manager, Michelle, who was also eager to do the right thing and help me. I would have had to eat $170 in paint and instead they let me exchange. I’m just really grateful. In this sometimes cruel and broken world, they showed me tremendous care and kindness and I just think that needs to be talked about and celebrated. I’m so grateful and now I’m a loyal customer for life.
