Love the Howell Home Depot!!! Everyone is always so nice!!

I bought a Ryobi back pack leaf blower and found out I could not put together by myself. So, I took it back to the Howell, MI Home depot & they took me to see Art & Mark in the rental department to help me put it together. These gentlemen were Awesome! I offered to buy them lunch....but, said they could Not accept my $$$. Thank You.....& it works GREAT!

This store is always clean and every employee is so helpful. I have been going to this store for the past 12 years and have always been very satisfied.

This store has very happy, helpful staff! I have never gone into this store and had anything but a positive experience! Every department has employees who are willing to help you locate materials needed, share opinions if asked, look up information on products, and give full service. They are all so polite and professional! It is always a pleasure to do business in this Home Depot store!

This store is always eager to assist in all of my home projects and the associates are well versed on the products.

Went into the store to pick up 54 boxes of Pergo XP flooring. The flooring had been delivered roughly 10 days prior to us picking it up on 4-21. We called ahead 30 minutes prior to walking into the store to give them time to move the flooring, and when we arrived the flooring was up front. Nothing was mentioned to us prior to picking up the floor nor at the service desk about the condition of the flooring. We met them down by the lumber to get the flooring put into our truck. Before loading the flooring into our truck, a sales associate made us aware that some of the flooring had been damaged and asked if we wanted to look it over carefully before loading it into the truck...which no one at the service desk had stated even though they had brought the flooring up and must have looked at it before we got there. Upon inspecting the 54 boxes of flooring, we found that 10 boxes were ripped at either the front or back, all the boxes were on the edges of the palate. Some of the ends of the pieces of wood were shredded, and clearly unusable. We requested that any ripped open boxes of flooring be removed and re-ordered as some of the pieces of flooring were either shredded or god knows what in the ripped boxes. The sales associates kindly told us they would go get the manager and so we waited. Erin was the one who came down to that end of the store and never even apologized for the condition of the flooring. My husband stated there were 10 boxes of flooring that were damaged, which she responded that "well I only counted 9 damaged boxes..."...there were indeed 10 boxes that we replaced. She then proceeded to ask if we wanted them replaced or not because "10 boxes would be the amount of waste you would get out of the flooring anyways so why replace the 10 boxes" and she asked why we wouldn't want to take them because we were just going to waste some of the wood anyway by the end. I informed her that any box that was clearly opened, RIPPED open, I would not be taking with me and I believed the integrity of the laminate was damaged and didn't want it. Erin the proceeded to tell me that "Well you destroy the integrity of the flooring by cutting it when you install it." This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard in my life, and honestly I am still shocked as to why she felt the need to argue. Clearly the product was damaged and defected, and I don't see why anything but a sincere apology and correcting the problem immediately wasn't done. She walked away and let the sales associates pull all the damaged boxes and informed us to meet her at the service desk to re-order 10 boxes of flooring. We got everything loaded (the sales associates actually were the ones who apologized, very much appreciated). We went down to the service desk and Erin was finishing with another customer. We were next in line and another woman walked in clearly after us. Erin finished with her current customer, looked and make direct eye contact with me, and then turned to the other woman and said "I can help you." This was shocking to me because we had just been dealing with her not 5 minutes prior and thought she would be the one to help, considering she knew what was going on. I don't know why when we spent $2,300 at your store when she treats customers like that. She never did end up helping to re-order the flooring, 2 other very nice women, Hollie and someone else, helped us out and got it ordered right away and were very kind. I have never experienced a store making a giant error and damaging purchased product $428 worth of flooring and then telling the customer that it was just going to happen anyways and that we should just take the damaged product, AND THEN ignore us at check-out. This is not the first time I've heard someone having a bad customer experience with Erin, and once our re-ordered flooring comes in I will be taking all my business to the Brighton store.

Outstanding people

Wow, Tyler K. in the garden center and cashier Hollie are two employees that this Home Depot need to keep. Tyler was very knowledgeable and helpful when purchasing my Cub Cadet tractor and Hollie made the check out purchase quick and easy. Hang on to these two employees, Home Depot.

Two associates really helped us get the microwave we wanted in time for Easter!

Assistant manager mike cut up some vinyl flooring for me and then helped me find a sku that wasn’t on display. He brought out the fork lift and brought it down for me. Great customer service. Great experience.

Employees make this store great!

As do it yourselfers, we go to Home Depot on a regular basis..we have had great advice from many employees to help us complete our home improvement projects.

Home Depot seems to make all customers feel welcome and they go above and beyond compared to any other home improvement stored. Fun Friendly staff

I’ve noticed the overall improvement in not only the outward appearance of this store, aisle by aisle, but also the significant improvement in employee attitude and friendliness.

Busy Saturday @our home town Home Depot. I was helped in the paint dept & when standing in line to check-out "Nicole" an employee whom was on her way home, quickly opened another register, ushered me & a few other customers through her line with a SMILE.Best experience I've ever had at Home Depot.Bravo!

I have never been to a better Home Depot to purchase items than this one. Great customer service, instant answers and always helpful cashiers, floor workers, etc. I am always able to find the items I need and employees to make great suggestions. This store also is a supported of Special Olympics of Michigan.

The Howell store is SO well stocked with amazing items. It's hard to pass the shelves without stopping. The employees are always friendly and helpful; ready to help when needed.

Deanna is appliances was a pleasure to work with!! We were 'window shopping' a month ago for a new washer and dryer and not ready to purchase. She spent a lot of time with us then. When we were ready to purchase, we made sure she was working to help us with it!

Great people working at this store. There are not near enough people there to help out the customers.

The Howell Home depot is always clean and shelves always seem to be stocked appropriately. The service is always great.

I had difficulty finding the section in the Howell Mi for my lumber purchase (plywood) and there was no employee around in any of the 8 sections to assist me also, one isle was almost totally blocked with materials on carts but no employee around attending the obstructions (contrary to my experiences with the Brighton MI store)..
