Store is kept neat and clean

I live in a community that has a Home Depot which is at least ten miles closer to my home; but I choose to go to the Home Depot in Howell every time I want to shop at Home Depot. The Howell store is always less crowded and better stocked than the Brighton store.

Needed some RV winterizing fluid and I saw by your email sent to me that it was on sale, so I picked up (3) 1 gal. jugs on my way back to work from Lunch and I had a great conversation with Cahier Candice as her name is the same as my wife's. Truly a wonderful experience!

I have been asked to be the project manager for the parsonage remodel at my church. I don't mind working hard and making decisions, but I thought that this would also cause more than a few headaches. My trip to Home Depot today was so productive and efficient! Every employee I spoke with in several different departments was polite and very helpful and they ended up saving me a lot of money! Thank you Home Depot!

I NEEDED 4 5 GALLONS OF DRIVEWAY TAR AND IT WAS OUT, THEY JUMPED INTO ACTION AND GOT A LIFT AND BROUGHT DOWN ANOTHER PALLET FROM WAY, WAY UP ON TOP AND THEN LOADED IT ON MY CART FOR ME.. SUPER-CAL-A-FRENCHALICOUS JOB THEY DID.. THEY ARE THE SERVICE BOMB.. GOOD JOB.

I was looking for a special battery. Michelle at the Howell store looked for it at the store and online. When she could not find it, she recommended a local specialized store that may have it. Thanks Home Depot! Keep on hiring people like Michelle who are friendly, personable and knowledgeable.

Bought a lawn tractor. Cub Cadet. Love it. Home depot is our go to store for anything regarding home improvements. Paint, tools, appliances, garden needs. We can count on this store to have it all! Been going there as long as long as I can remember. We have lived in Howell 30 years.

I purchased some wire, later realized it wasn’t the correct type of wire. On a trip back to the store I went to customer service to return the wire. I placed it on the counter in the associate looked at it and said “we don’t return cut wire.” then I said “I didn’t know that”. (there was no sign) She then said "I will call a manager" and then she picked up the phone. When someone picked up the other end she said I have a customer who has $267 in cut wire can he return it? Then she said "OK and hung up the phone. She turned to me and just said “sorry”. All in all that doesn’t sound too terrible but this person looked at me the whole time like she knew me and hated me but when she delivered the final blow “sorry“ she just smiled and seemed so pleased it really upset me. I picked up my wire and left. This was third time this year I had a bad experience and my rules are on the third offense I return what I can and stay away for a year. I returned the items I had and the customer service person who assisted me was kind, efficient and really very professional at his job. This is a good review because this associate and the gentleman coming back from his break who talked with me definitely made up for that bad experience at customer service a week ago. I'll just suffer the $267.00 but before you cut wire for a customer you should tell them no returns on cut wire or at least have a very visible sign stating the same. A small gesture that led to an additional sale. I was searching for a specific Milwaukee 7" ph2 impact bit. I was unable to locate it in the area designated for that bit. An employee helped me search for it with no avail. He then adjusted it out of stock. Because he knows that I purchase a lot of Milwaukee tools from the Home depot. He informed me that they just received the new Milwaukee tumblers. He assumed that I might be interested and told me where to find them. while I was there looking at the Tumblers I noticed a tool carousel 2 feet away with the missing impact bits. I purchased both items and informed the employee that I found the lost stock.

Always helpful in whatever needs I may have for whatever project.

Repair deck every year. Replace bad board.

The majority of the time it is very hard to find someone to help you. Don't ask for loading as you will be left out in the loading zone forever. Every time I need help, no one ever shows up. I even had a customer that was walking into the store help me load some heavy stuff.

My favorite Home Depot. Know right where everything is, employees are always friendly. Just wish they had a qualified person in each department like they used to. Need to pay a little better to keep them. They were more valuable to customers than you have now.

Our sales person in the millworks department was fantastic! Brenda was very knowledgeable and patient. Home Depot couldn't ask for a better person to represent them.

Every time I shop here, the employees are welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. They take an interest in you. I go out of my way to shop this store.

It was a pleasure to shop at the Howell Home Depot today. The staff members were very friendly and easy to locate. I didn't have to hunt for a staff member to assist with locating a couple of items. They were right there in the aisle. I was able to use the regular check-out lane also. A cashier was waiting for me. I didn't have to use the self-checkout which is difficult at times. I will continue to keep this my regular go-to store.
