Had help from Kumbala in lumber, Peter in Paint, Angelo helped me special order an address plate, and Donell carried a large plywood to my car and didn't leave until we made it fit. All associates were helpful and fun to joke around with. Will def come back to this store.

Purchased large amount of building blocks on a Sat. Set up delivery for Monday. No delivery. Called, told Sales Assoc didn't schedule. Re-scheduled for Tuesday. No block. Called Tuesday. Told delivery not scheduled. Complete inability to perform the most simple sales tasks. Lost two full days on project.

As an older woman buying bags of mulch, I was impressed with the alertness of the associate. She sought me out to offer assistance before I requested help.

Store is in a great location. Easy to get to and lots of parking spaces. You can purchase lawn & garden products and check-out outside.

The review title says it all. Jalonza Wesley made this Visit Great and my overall rating and availablity of associates is only an indicator of her performance. Otherwise, if you visited one Home Depot you have seen them all and this location was no different than another other. What set this location apart was Jalonza, words cannot accurately state how refreshing it is to speak with someone who is not only knowledgeable, customer service oriented but personable. She is what set this location apart from all of the others.

I love shopping at this particular Home Depot but had a bad experience yesterday. I had to return a plant and the young lady in the outside garden department didn't know if I could return it to the garden department and didn't call over to the returns desk to find out but made me walk there myself. Furthermore, there were no available store associates to help me with 6 bags of mulch or help me to load them in my car. Another customer kindly helped me get the mulch and load the mulch in my car. I was not pleased with my visit to the Home and Garden Dept. at this Home Depot.

Design Consultant Cheryl was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We were very happy with her assistance.

I went to this store to purchase one or two items I needed to complete a project I am working on. The store staff was no where to be found when I needed assistance with information and piece of equipment in the power tool area. The back security door was unsecured, and I found the area to be less than presentable. While in the check out line, there are 2 cash registers open and , only two of the self check out kiosks. My line was very delayed when there became a language issue with the customer and the cashier, who were both spanish speakers. They needed assistance from a supervisor or manager, who didn't show up during the 5 minutes I was waiting in that line before switching to the self chaeck out line. All lines were long, and there was 4 registers NOT open. Recently this store has proven to be a great disappointment. A lack of professionalism in noted, and it is obvious that the associates lack leadership guidance to complete their jobs. Most associates I have dealt with there, lack basic knowlrdge of the areas they work in, or just tell you that they will have to get someone else to assist you because of their lack of familiarization of the department. Since it's openeing, this store has been a roller coaster ride with performance of the associates. Maybe they need a managerial change to get them back in step. Very disappointed with this store, going to Lowe's more frequently, with a lomger drive from my home. That has been worth it;. I feel Lowe's values my business, which seems to be lacking at the Home Depot in Hybla Valley.

I enjoy shopping at Home Depot in Hybla Valley. I am able to obtain information on the location of merchandise. The staff is friendly and I love the idea of renting the truck or van to transport the merchandise.

The overall store was clean and the staff I interacted with was very friendly, especially the sales associate in the windows and door department. He demonstrated great customer service and was very knowledgeable about the various door products/materials. He helped me to select the right type of door (fiber glass instead of steel) for my home. Thanks for all your help.

Needed several products including an item I only know by "spray and leave". I leaned from previous visits that the information counter is not as knowledgeable as the man/women on the floor. One Item I needed was a wire brush so went to the tool section and ask a associate where they were located. He gave me the location in the paint department, I asked about the location of the second item I need but only knew by the slogan "spray and leave". He know what I was talking about and gave me the location in the building material department. During our discussions, he even helpped me with the name of an auto repair place that could help me with a requirement of my old sport car. Can't find that kind of help from the young men of today.

We were looking to repaint our well worn deck, Vivian in the paint department took the time to explain everything we would need to make our deck look spectacular. She recommended the Behr Premium Deckover paint with the perfect tint to match our existing color and trim. Her customer service was above and beyond most other big box stores. Associates like Vivian make it a pleasure to shop the Home Depot in Alexandria

I needed help getting some lumber cut. I asked 3 different associates to help me. They called over the PA system 4 times and NO ONE EVER came to help me. I waited for 30 minutes. Finally I went to check out with what I had and left without my lumber. I will not be returning to this store. Customer service is extremely important and I was severely disappointed.

We went to the Lawn and Garden Center - Richard / Rick was Most helpful. He even helped load the van he saw us outside after he was finished with a customer. Excellent experience. Check out was fast too.

Had trouble locating items, but an associate took me directly to my first item, then turned me over to another associate who also took me directly to the next items.

Love this store. Very friendly associates. Everything is wasy to find.

Want to know where an item is located? Don't go to Customer Service. Ask any one on the floor and they will direct you or take you to the location. They know that your time is more valuable than their time.

Looking for a new bathroom - Ms. Via was absolutely wonderful! Knows her stuff, very pleasant, on time for our two appointments, great ideas - couldn't ask for a better consultant. I purchased the vanity, vanity top and medicine cabinet; I'll be back to meet with her for other ideas for lighting and hardware. She was kind enough to discuss faucets with me as we looked at them and she also showed me the tile aisle before introducing me to an associate to help with that chore! She's a tremendous asset to your store - you need more like her! Give that woman a raise!!

The store is clean and the associates are professional. I travel further to come here, but its well worth the extra time.
