I bought many products in this store and as always great friendly service and always good products!!

I purchased a lopper and a bypass pruner that came as a set for $19.88. This was a pretty nice deal that I could just go into the store and buy, it did not need to be special ordered. I have already taken down a couple of bushes and tomorrow a couple trees will bite the dust before they get too big.

Worst Home Depot in country

We’ve been going here for over 6 years and have used many of the services and products from kitchen remodel to flooring and general home repairs. The staff and managers are always friendly and helpful. We appreciate them all. Highly recommend.

I went in to get a microwave with a fan and I’m very happy with the care the sales associate helped me out, I haven’t had this great customer service in a very long time and these days is needed :)

I bought this item because I needed a replacement engine/powerhead for my old Ryobi 2 cycle trimmer. My Ryobi had become unreliable after many years of service with attachments for a string trimmer, brush cutter, leaf/snow blower, and hedge trimmer. When it failed to start and run reliably, I went to HD and found the cheapest package with the equivalent engine power head. Unboxed, filled with gas, and connected to my old trimmer attachment and I was back to trimming in 5 minutes. The quick start and power of the new engine was obvious and welcome compared to my well used original. The cheap plastic front handle does not stay fixed well, I will swap it for the more sturdy metal handle included with the brush cutter attachment.

employees did not seem to care about the customers, except for Vivian

Had a pluming project, the regular guy at the dept was off that day. Manager try to help, but small knowledge. I had to figure out and took me forever to figure it out.

The staff in this store are incompetent for most easy job, they also accuse each other in front of customers. They need training to know what they are doing, and also not mis charge customer for extra. Go to Merrifield or Fairfax location to save your time for more reliable service.

The Garden Section was so full of products that hadn't been shelved or, those that were on moveable shelves had just been shoved helter skelter to block aisles. When the delivery people are complaining about what a disaster the store area was, I know I'm not alone. What a mess, no help available either, they just avert their eyes and walk away.

I was preparing to load 15 bags of flooring mortar (thinset) and 4 bags of leveling compound onto a cart for a tiling project. Our tiling contractor had asked me to have it on hand for the start of the project. I was not looking forward to loading the bags as the bags are heavy and I had recently injured my back. I should mention that I'm over 70. A young staff member (E.) noticed me preparing to load the bags and offered to do it for me. I thought it was too much to ask, but he said "I get paid to do this." He loaded all the materials onto my cart and also helped me get them into my car. I was very grateful for his help.

I was able to find the type and number of panels which I wanted to buy. I was happy to get enough of them.

Two men, Jerome and Frank went out of their way to find the one remaining item (a men’s large, M12 Axis heated vest).

There seem to be more employees around to answer questions and that is a big help.

Ricardo and Mariana were respectful and very helpful while other employees appeared bothered by a request to assist.

Very helpful, solved issue immediately and did not disrespect my in abilities to solve an easy issue on my own.

The store was clean and well organized. The sales personnel were wonderful. I got a fantastic deal on the appliance I purchased.

I bought cleaning supplies. I was thoroughly pleased with what I purchased. I can’t find the name brand of the cleaning supplies I used to clean my hardwood floors in any other store. I was pleased to find what I was looking for. I found some other items on Sale that was not on my List, but, knew that I could use the Items very soon along with the Cleanj g Supplies I purchased.

Went here in search of a Traeger that I was struggling to find online and in other local branches. Came here and found the most incredible helpful employee I have ever encountered in a HD store - Mr. Jose M. He spent at least 30 minutes scouring the store to find the product only to discover it in misplaced up stock. After retrieving it he helped get it through to checkout and even helped me load it in my vehicle. Above-and-beyond service!

We needed someone at the Pro Desk to help us order our new fence and all the hardware for it . The night we went no one could help . We called they said come back in the am Thess is working. That was the good news and that’s why I gave this Home Depot 5 stars because of the great employee Thess , he’s knowledgeable, cares , knows what he’s doing which is hard to find these days. He gets 10 stars from us .

Sandy Deanes saw us wondering around and approached us to see if we needed help. She listened to our needs and provided assistance. We asked to price match. She could have brushed us off and told us we were better off going to a different store but she went above and beyond to support us. We worked as a team with her manager and provided outstanding support. This is now our go to Home Depot.

So happy with the customer service at The Home Depot in Alexandria, Virginia! The Garden Center is the best I have ever used. I will definitely look forward to shopping there again!

Apparently DeWalt items are not discounted at the advertised 10%.
