As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Please clean off any residual dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. Yes, power saw rentals generally come with blades, but we do recommend that you purchase your own. You'll likely not get a sharp blade when you rent, as most people won't leave one on there when they return it. However, you might get lucky and have a sharpened one. As there's no guarantee, it's better to buy a suitable blade, just in case you need it.

Yes, please fuel up the truck before you return it. Note the amount of gas in the tank when you receive the truck, and be sure to fill it with enough gas to match that same level. If you don't, you have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be 21 or older. Depending on your state, you may require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck. Some tools and large equipment also require ID verification via CLEAR.

Depending on your location, you can get large equipment delivered straight to your job site for an affordable rate — whether that's out in the field or at your own home. We'll need at least 24 hours' notice so we can adequately prep your rented equipment, and you'll need to rent it for a full day. In places where delivery isn't available, speak to one of our knowledgeable associates for the best way to get your large equipment.
