My husband and I were shopping for a new front door. This can be an exhausting and frustrating endeavor. With Joe Silvestri's expertise and patience, we found a door that will fit our needs and finances. All employees are helpful. If I am looking for something, they won't tell what aisle to look in, they will SHOW me exactly where the item is. Many employees ask how you're doing as you walk the aisles.

The customer service John (unfortunately I did not get his last name) was outstanding! I would like to let his manager know that John took the time to listen and he owned the situation then took the initiative to help us in our dilemma by locating and replacing the damaged freezer we had purchased from the Lake Zurich Home Depo about two hours before. We live almost 20 miles from the Lake Zurich store in Glencoe. Our home refrigerator had stopped working and everything was melting. When we told John about our situation he stepped up and made sure that we had a freezer for our food. John also gave us a 10% discount for our inconvenience since had to make two round trips a little more than 70 miles. John with your help we were able to save a full freezer of food! Thank you again for all your help it was very much appreciated!!

Great advice from people who really know their stuff. I didn't want any battery yard equipment. They seemed cheep and short working time. . Store employee promised me I would be happy with the new EGO blower and trimmer. I was shocked at how easy, quiet and powerful they were. So happy he was there and talked me out of gas or corded.

I have never had a bad experience in the um-teen yeas of shopping there and the staff I have interacted with has been helpful, pleasant and professional.

Lake Zurich, IL treated me immediately like family from the time I received "Excellent Service" with employee Levi (Plumbing). He assisted me at the beginning over the phone to the time I left. Levi brought me my products to Customer Service on my arrival and Customer Service Laurie helped me to my car. I've been a member of Home Depot since 2012 and this store location treated me like I was a part of the "Home Depot Family"! Thank you for the Awesome Excellent Outstanding Service (Levi, Laurie & Manager Michael)!

Store aisles are too cluttered with impulse displays. It's an obstacle course. Paint department is out of 2 types of sample jars for tinting. What should have been a $5 paint patch cost $17 for a quart. And the paint guy did not care he was out of samples.

Enforcement of face coverings is clearly ignored at this store for employees and customers. Approximately 25% of the customers had no face coverings. If you have ANY health issues, stay away from this store. For now I'm gonna "save more money". Also there was one very, very rude HD employee, however, all other employees I encountered were very nice. They do need to find those nasty employees (they are not hard to spot) and remove them.

Christina at the returns counter has appalling behavior towards customers. The manager on duty was just as bad! We have been buying moving supplies including a lot of boxes the past week or two. In total, we have bought 55 boxes and were planning to buy a lot more moving supplies from Home Depot. The boxes we bought the other day were damaged, so we took them to return today. Christina and the manager gave us unacceptable attitude and rude behavior and even accusing us of damaging them. The damage was clearly done by forklifts because it was so extreme. Not to mention, we didn't even bring back all of the damaged boxes. We kept some of them that were less damaged and decided to deal with them! We were only bringing 3 back that had EXTREME damage which would not be seen as they were backed in a tight band. There was no apology for anything. We are very kind and easy going people. We greeted Christina with a smile and she was in a mood right from the start. We understand times can be stressful during Covid 19. The behavior that Christina displayed towards my mom and I was absolutely unacceptable and appalling that she is representing the store at the returns counter. As customers, we have the option of where to shop for flowers and all supplies. We have been using Home Depot lately to buy a lot of various supplies, including flowers and plants as well. We are also building a house right now so would have been buying a large amount of items. It is no problem to shop somewhere that we are not called liars or treated so poorly and made felt uncomfortable. Not to mention, we are talking about 3 boxes that probably cost less than $5.00 in total! It was shocking and writing this review was the first thing we did once we got home! We will certainly no longer be Home Depot customers after this experience and we home that Christina and the manager will be dealt with accordingly.

Best Christmas Tree shopping experience ever! Jeff the manager of the department helped me and my son pick out our perfect tree and get it loaded in our care in less then 20 minutes. It was pouring rain and we still couldn't have been happier because the service was amazing and we came home with one of the prettiest trees we've ever had!

Employees are very professional, knowledgeable and happy to help. Make decisions easy to make especially with large purchases, which is the most difficult. Store hase great assortment and the best prices. Great place to shop!!

If you are in the market for appliances - ask for Jerry at the Lake Zurich store. One of the most attentive, knowledgeable, engaging and customer focused Salesperson we ever encountered.... unlike that mega-appliance store in Glenview.... where on a weekend it is a mad house in the parking lot and worse inside the store.

A few years ago the store went down hill. I almost stopped shopping there, but things have turned around.

The store is very clean and the employees are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It's easy to find products and there is always someone there to help you out. In the building and lumber area, Rich is the man. He is awesome.

Be careful, this store emails you to come and pick up online orders and when you arrive they tell you they were not filled, big inconvenience if you need to rent a truck or borrow a van,,,,

When coming in the store the people were very nice and asked us what department we needed to go to and made sure someone was there to help us. Since we are older they really took the time out and helped us make a decision on our purchase.
