Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have any Spring Deals?

Another great spring sale is here, so get ready to save money. Whether you're upgrading your home with new appliances or just doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools, we've got what you're looking for. Be sure to check out our patio furniture, grills and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from April 23rd through May 10th and enjoy your new products year-round.

How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be certain your home is set for spring temperature shifts by replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If moisture gets inside the crevices, you might be looking at trouble. On your home's exterior, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for damage that may let water come in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent excess water from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

What types of moving boxes do you have?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Do I need a generator?

Enjoy power in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at the Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Stop by our Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople and builders! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a trinket box with a sliding lid is a great way to hone listening abilities, creativity, and fine motor skills. This cute kids' project is happening on May 2nd, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
