I had specific items to purchase and found them easily. All associates were friendly and asked if I needed assistance.

Staff was very helpful even with what I needed which was not within this associate's specific department.

I was looking for a spool of rope and they didn't have it available. I then went to Fastenal and they didn't have it either. Not sure why a spool of rope was difficult to find but it was. Overall though I like going to HD, good product and good prices. Thanks!

The store had just what I needed. I was buying materials for a handrail, and I found exactly the right length. There was a great selection of brackets, too.

The store is very well organized and very clean. I had no trouble finding what I was looking for.

Needed 2.5 inch pvs for dust collection project, an associate pointed out that electrical conduit came in 2.5 inch, whereas water pipes,do not. Big Help!

I always have a really hard time finding someone to help me around the store. The majority of the time, once I find an associate, I'm satisfied with their assistance. I'm currently doing a mini-renovation to my home and had difficulty with finding good help during this visit. Usually I am satisfied with the assistance though.

Associate asked if I needed help finding anything. They were out of Black and Decker string trimmer replacement. Went to self-checkout, and associate came right over and scanned my softener pellets ,so I didn't have to lift them to the counter.

This is an excellent store to shop in. Sometimes it seems hard to find an associate, but when you do, they are very helpful and go out of their way to do anything necessary to accommodate your needs, including finding someone else who's more knowledgeable, or referring you to another store that might have what you need (it's a great sign of a good store when they are confident enough to send you somewhere else to really help you get what you need, knowing you'll be back again!) Definitely worth a visit to this store and its excellent excellent employees ! ! !

Betty, the head cashier at the Lawrence Home Depot was an absolute pleasure to work with. Betty, the head cashier at the Lawrence store, was very polite and very helpful. I asked Glenn, the head person over plumbing,for help with a sump pump since I didn't see the one I needed on the shelf, he said that the system show that there are three but he didn't have time to go find me one because he had other things to do. I asked Betty for a manager, she asked me what she could do to help, I explained the situation to her, she took me back to the area where the sump pumps were and asked Glenn herself if they had any on hand, he told her that the computer says they had 3 but he didn't have time to look for them because he was busy, she apologizes then found a manager and asked if she could price match and give me a better one after she explained what happened. The manager said yes and I walked away pretty satisfied. She took the time to help me and I really appreciate her. Thank you Betty.

For the first time, I had two employees ask if I needed anything. There was a problem at the self check out, the employee just rang everything yp by hand. It was very convenient.

I live in Wichita, but have to come to Lawrence to work on a rental. I like this store better than the stores we have in Wichita.

I needed quality carpet in a timely manner due to water damage in my home. The associate helped me select quality carpeting in the 10 day guaranteed installation category. I was not only dealing with the home damage, but also a medical emergency in the family. Three different associates went out of their way to ensure the carpet was installed around hospital visits and medical appointments - within the 10 day period. I was also able to select carpeting of quality and appearance that I would want to use again in other areas of my home.

I am a professional who visits Home Depot nearly daily as a result of my work. However, it is a typical visit to this Home Depot if you leave with 3 of 5 things you came to get. Massively under stocked shelves or perhaps store mismanagement that leads to not enough goods being ordered. The paint department is routinely out of 5-gallon buckets, which leaves me to buy large quantities of paint in individual gallons. You can imagine how long it takes waiting on 15 individual gallons to be made versus being able to conveniently purchase 3 5-gallon buckets. Other "common" items such as air filters and electrical outlets are routinely sold out. These are items that do not expire; there is no reason for this store to under stock these items. Truly very frustrating. Home Depot should address this soon as Menards is opening up next door and many of us in the profession who are tired of not having what we need when we need it will go elsewhere.

Everything was easy to find. We were looking for a specific water pump.

He was able to answer every question we had and made the purchasing process as simple as it could be. Thanks to him and the Home Depot for taking time to train your employees completely. The check-out clerk was very helpful in directing me to find the item I wanted to purchase. However, I was a little disconcerted to find that the store price was more than the on-line price.

Could not get anyone to help me load my items either in the store or in my vehicle.
