Take on any new DIY project with the tools you need, even if you don't have them on hand. Rent power tools, use them, and take them back when you're done. Finish your project without taking up valuable garage or shed storage with tools you only need every so often.
Tool Rental
Start your home improvement project with the right tools for the job. Let our Tool Rental Center in Lewiston expand your tool belt with the items you don't have on hand. Rent the tools you need and return them when the job is done. If those rental tools just went from wanted to needed, we have used tools available to buy. The retired rental tools are discounted compared to the new items in our aisles.
Leaf Blowers
Try renting a leaf blower to maintain your lawn. Fall will be here before you know it, so have a leaf blower at the ready. It's far less work than raking them into piles. It's also great to use on concrete sidewalks, hardscaping surfaces, and driveways. You can rent one of our handheld, backpack, or walk-behind leaf blowers.
Insulation
If you need to prep your home for cooler weather, consider upgrading your insulation. Rent specialized equipment for insulation to install it efficiently. Choose from a cellulose insulation blower or a fiberglass blower, and get those nooks and crannies insulated with ease. Installing insulation helps keep your home nice and cool in the summer and warm and cozy in the winter, all while tempering your heating and cooling bills.
Heaters
If you can't stand working or being outside in the cold, browse our heater rentals. Portable heaters keep outdoor events, barns, or workspaces warm. They are safer than torch patio heaters because they don't have an open flame, and they also blow the hot air for more coverage. We carry propane, electric, and gas heaters in various sizes. Pair this with nice outdoor lighting and a jacket, and you can extend work or play well into the evening hours with the extra warmth.

How do I rent a tool?
Stop by your local Rental Center to see what tools you can rent. You can also call first to inquire about a tool, or check out our tool rental page to see if it's offered at your favorite store. If it's not, check another nearby store or call our Rental Center associates to locate where that tool may be available. For additional information on tool rentals, read these Tool Rental FAQs, including equipment terms and conditions.
How long can I rent tools?
You can rent a tool for four hours or more. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small DIY projects may only require a short rental period, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You have options to rent tools by the day, week, or month, too. If you need it longer than your initial rental period, call the Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I return the tools?
You can return the tools early if you finish your project ahead of schedule, but on time works, too. As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Please clean off any residual dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need them longer, call the rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
Do saw rentals come with saw blades?
Yes, power saw rentals generally come with blades, but we do recommend that you buy your own. You'll likely not get a sharp blade when you rent, as most people won't leave one on there when they return it. However, you might get lucky and have a sharpened blade on the saw. As there's no guarantee, it's better to buy a suitable blade, just in case you need it.
