Farm UTV Restoration - Modifications Google Maps Review – Home Depot – Selma, Tx AMAZING CUSTOMER – HOME DEPOT STAFF INTERACTION! 4/27/2025 I only write positive reviews, 30 in total with 24,903 views. Today, with GREAT pleasure, I’m writing this review due to the OUTSTANDING performance Leslie and Taylor demonstrated. To start, I asked Leslie, who was tinting a paint sample in the paint department, where I could find hot-melt glue sticks. I knew I was close. Leslie told me that I could find the glue sticks in aisle 15. We reviewed my project and need for glue sticks, welding plastic with a propane torch, to repair a molding accent part on our Farm UTV 4x4. Leslie showed real interest asking questions to clarify details. Leslie offered alternatives like 2k, 2-part adhesives, and where I could find them. Leslie returned to her assigned location to support other customers. Leslie returned and confirmed I found the hot-melt glue sticks. Leslie asked additional questions, leading to project #2. The hood release knob and cable, in my hand, peaked her interest and the additional questions. After describing the re-installation obstacles and my ideas, Leslie suggested I look in the Plumbing area for large rubber washers. I hadn’t thought of that and realized there may be a solution there. Knowing I needed replacement bolts for a front hood re-installation, project #3, Leslie offered to page Taylor to the Fastener aisle. Taylor promptly arrived and greeted me at the bolts organizer rack and engaged in a project review. Showing Taylor, the release cable setup and sharing my thoughts, allowed him to go into “Consultant Extraordinaire Mode.” Taylor knew his stuff. Very meticulous and detail oriented. You can tell when someone is listening to you and paying attention. Great eye contact, professional appearance, bright smile AND, he knew his stuff (emphasis on this by mentioning it twice because he does). Taylor is a real PRO. Home Depot has a great training program and mentors, I’m sure. However, an individual must have the drive to excel with the training and learn at every opportunity. Taylor demonstrated his talent today. One complement I gave Taylor face-to-face was that I was awake at 1:00 am and his efforts of sorting through the bolt, washer and, nut packages allowed me to focus on my projects to be sure I was getting the optimal solutions. I needed an angle bracket to reconnect the plastic front hood. Taylor walked me to the proper area. We selected the brackets that matched my design ideas. Project number three was finally discussed. I needed an “end of cable” crimp piece that would prevent the parking brake cable from pulling loose. I had an idea and Taylor found the same option with the Home Depot employee scan tool. A ferrule was the solution. I could have purchased a replacement hand brake lever for $104.00 but my personal challenge was to fix it (and save some money). Both Leslie and Taylor were cognizant of time and other customers’ presence in their areas. This was first thing this morning, between 8:10 am and 9:00 am, so customer traffic was a little light (it was picking up as I left so my timing was perfect). I am happy to have the opportunity to write this review. I’m hoping to be selected for an official Home Depot survey so that I can reiterate these sentiments formally. Scheduled three times before they delivered. Delivery service is virtually Impossible to call. Was scheduled between 1-5 on a Friday, they called me wanting to deliver at 730. I was out and could not accept. When they did deliver, they left it in my driveway when the website said will deliver to nearest dry area ie patio, garage.

The cashier Mike, I dealt with was just awful! He was rude, well, his eyes at me and pleasant to deal with. He should not be dealing with customers. I still would like a Home Depot commercial though… Duers get things done!

I’m glad we chose to build a house through Home Depot.. We are building this without a builder with the help of all the employees at Home Depot!! DOERS GET THINGS DONE!! I would sure love to get a commercial to show everybody out there that you don’t have to be a builder to build a house!

My husband and I are building a 4700 square-foot house without a builder… Honestly without great plans either it’s turning out beautiful with the help from all of the employees especially Roger in the pro department, doug, Manny, Bobby, and windows, Tiffany, Ronnie, without them this house would not be as beautiful as it is.. Bill and I would love to have a Home Depot commercial to show the world that you could build a house even a monster of a house like ours throughHome Depot! Doers get things done!!!

Paint department had the newest color match tool to get the color you want on point. Joann was so friendly and helpful. Was a very delight experience at 630 am.

The store had everything except one item, had to order one item on-line with the Customer Service representative, should be here within a week, all went great.

Great store. Warehouse needs lots of attention. Especially how to communicate with customers. I won’t buy anything there I can’t carry out the door.

All the persons that have helped me at this location have been helpful and caring!

I love how easily we are able to shop the store. Their stock is always strategically placed to maximize our purchases. Their employees are always friendly and the store is very clean.

Every time you come to the store and need help loading your materials onto your vehicle, they turn and walk away or totally ignore you therefore you're left on your own to carry the heavy load.

I went to purchase some landscaping needs of some winter plants. Was helped with knowledge of winter growing plants from a young man there on Saturday 04 Oct 2025. VI also needed some new Solor Lights since irs getting darker sooner and sooner now. I received some great recommendations from another young man on some reasonable, nice solar lights. I bought x6 Boxes of 6 . They look great! Thank you 😊

HD location at Live Oak, TX is very, very convienant, well planned and layout is awesome. Employees are very professional and genuinly caring. Love HD Live Oak emplyees and locale.

Very pleased with speed of install.

I had to look for someone for assistance, and they weren’t too ambitious to help me, seem like he was forcing himself to help me.

I went in for some lumber and was asked if I needed help. Generally I don’t, but I was in a hurry so I explained what I needed. The associate walked me to the lumber and asked if I need further help. Seems like a minor thing, but, weirdly, I felt appreciated as a customer. This doesn’t always happen very often, so I really appreciated the effort the associate took on my behalf.

I had thugs drop off and install refrigerator that resulted in damage to refrigerator and was told that they would initiate a claim which never happened. I took a month to get the replacement.

I can never find somebody to help me. I even tried the app to get an associate and nobody arrived. I had to stop somebody from walking away after he helped somebody else. I despise the self checkout. If you can pay somebody to look over my shoulder just have them scan my stuff and say “thank you for shopping at Home Depot”!

I bought this just yesterday and should get it Tuesday, good price excellent warranty and costumer attention.

They’re just awesome here.

Waited 20 minutes for a manager and she still didn't resolve the issue. She said she would need to call corporate and she didn't have time to do that because she was the only manager on duty.

Exceptional customer service and superb merchandise are the main reasons this Home Depot is my preferred store.

I bought a ceiling fan & had to return it 2x because of faulty parts. After 2nd return I purchased one from another store.

Doug was very professional and friendly. Helped my wife and I.

Don’t waste your time for them them to pull your order. You are better off pulling the item yourself. Waste of time !

The contractors promised they’d be at my house between nine and 11 on Sunday, and they blew me off completely, and didn’t even try to get in touch with me, and then, when I called them to find out why they weren’t there, I was treated like I was a bad person because I was calling them out and that they didn’t show up, it was Debbie, who lied to me who said that they only do the door measurements on Sunday, which was not true after speaking with Devan, the manager, and then Eddie when I told him that it was not cool For just blowing me off and never showing up or calling or anything, and then he told me to just get my money back and that he didn’t wanna do the job anyway

I appreciate all the help i received at the store from VV the sales person and Clinton who helped me
