Turn the valuable lesson open box and inspect water heater before taking old one out and discovering that Home Depot delivered a damaged water heater! Had to install it because the old one was already out! Store manager result was bring the old one in and we'll replace it with a new one! Store manager relayed information through store Clerk Express no regret that this happened! Will never shop at Home Depot again!

I love coming to this store. It’s managed extremely well and the staff is friendly and helpful. I’m always impressed with how tidy it is compared to some other places I’ve seen.

We have been looking for new sliding doors for a long time. We decided to stop at Home Depot to look at the stock. Matt Q greeted us and helped us make a decision on the doors we needed. His knowledge of the product helped us decide what doors we needed. He went above and beyond answering our questions and giving us pointers on installing the doors. The Andersen doors we purchased were great quality and fairly easy to install for 2 people.

I bought the new storm door and was happy with the price just not happy with the layout of this store the Derry Street Home Depot is a far superior layout im not sure why they are all so different

I brought my new washing machine on October 17, 2025. My experience with the representative and Customer Service was totally awesome and I cannot wait to receive my new machine on Wednesday, October 22. I wish I could’ve picked it up in store so that I can have my washing machine this weekend, but I’m OK with the delivery and the fact that they are going to install my new washing machine and haul away my old washing machine. What a great experience thus far.🫶🏼

We live on the West Shore, but just happened to stop in your Lower Paxton store while in the area to look at appliances. We were met by Greg Barton and were so impressed with his knowledge that when we were ready to buy, we made a special trip to the East Shore so we could deal with Greg. You are very lucky to have him as an employee.

So I purchased an animatronic on the Home Depot app because it’s not available in store right now when I received it it was not working so I returned it to the store being how I bought it online. I was not able to re-order at the store directly and since refund take 3 to 7 days, I asked for store credit in return since I wanted to re-order the same item when I didn’t know is store, credit cannot be used online. Only gift cards can use online, but Marie took her time and did her best to try to help me. She really did try. She was so friendly. She was able to de-escalate my frustration And I think she just did such an amazing job went above and beyond. I think Home Depot needs to fix the Store credit problem or make it easy to transfer the credit to a gift card because Maria was not able to use store credit to order for me on computer either But I’m very grateful for her patience and her help. The best customer service experience I think I’ve ever had!

Ability to shop at a home center nearby

I had to return a faulty water heater that was still in warranty but was leaking. I did not have my receipt, but Edna was able to use the serial number to verify my claim. When I took the unit back, Edna was not working that day and I met some resistance with the rep. I requested a manager and a fellow named Josh appeared and was very helpful in getting this problem resolved. I hope the store appreciates the fine staff they have in Customer Service.

This Home Depot is a great experience. It is very clean and the employees are there to help and don't run away when they see you coming. They hunt you out and ask if you need help.

Hapoy with product but not customer service. Took over a half hour for someone to load my 25 bags of mulch in my car.

Husky Ratcheting PVC Cutter works great in tight spaces. For areas I can't get my reciprocating saw in, the Husky PVC cutter can easily fit. The Ratcheting capabilities makes it easy to apply the necessary force to cut the pipe clean.

Jen ( or Jenn) went out of her way to quickly get me a product that wasn’t open yet and was staged on a higher shelf. I appreciate the great, quick, friendly customer service. Thank you!

I was in homedepot located in 5101 Jonestown Rd Harrisburg, PA 17112 I had an incident today at this location, where the employee floor help called gary and craig (who were just talking to each other and not working with other customers) in the plumbing department were very rude to me and treated me very discriminatory. I am of asian descent but a citizen for the last 45 years. I needed them to tell me where the shutoff valve for my toilet was located in the plumbing area of the store because i needed to replace it. i brought the broken part to show them, but they just looked at it and said 'what is that'. i said this is a shut off valve right? Gary responded very snarky and disrespectful i dont know is it? I said are you making fun of me? He then pointed with his finger and just said its over there in the other isle just go look for it. i was still asking him questions and he cut me off and said to me 'are you done i have other customers' there were no other customers around. i was needing more direction but he disregarded me and proceeded to ignore me. i said to him i will be reporting you to the store manager you are so rude to me. he just looked at me and said 'go ahead'. i went to the store manager josh and complained and he was not happy about it either. i want to escalate this higher to ensure better customer service with no discrimination, and reprimands particularly to these two individuals. This happen this morning 12-31-2024

We purchased Bi-Fold closet doors that appeared to be okay but that ended up to have damaged hardware inside the package. We do not know if these were returns that were repacked in the store and reshelved or if they suffered some sort of in transit damage, but we were unhappy with this. Best advice is to examine stuff RIGHT AFTER PURCHASE and BEFORE YOU LEAVE STORE PREMISES to insure that you are not buying damaged merchandise.

I strongly disagree with the $50 fee for removal of an old appliance. I just purchased a new gas range at a great sale price. I can see where the other charges are substantianted (install fee etc) but I cant see why you would charge $50 to remove the old one. You have to take it out of it's current spot in the kitchen and all you have to do is load it on the truck sitting in my driveway. Why would that cost $50 to do that? Not fair! It's not like you had to make another trip back to get it, it's right there! I really thought about cancelling my order and look elsewhere for a range but lucky for you I didn't have the time to shop around. Bottom line...that $50 removal fee is rediculous.
