I'm kind of a do-it-yourself kind of guy. I never break down and hire someone to fix things around the home. When I have a problem or project I can go to Home Depot and they almost always have the part (or suggestions from an employee) as to how to go about fixing the problem. The guy in the plumbing department has gotten me out of a jam several times.

Professionalism in the flooring dept is second to none, Lynn is such a asset.

I was looking for a replacement washer and dryer. Taylor visited with me about current promotions, sales, extended warranty coverage and payment options. She was extremely knowledgeable, but she was never pushy. After discussing options with my husband, I dragged him back to Home Depot and Taylor had him smiling and agreeing to a new set of my choosing in no time. That's no small feat. She is definitely customer-service oriented, and she should be promoted to management in the near future.

I was surprised by the female associate that was working in the paint department; she did not greet me or initiate conversation and was very cold mannered. She had no problem corresponding cheerfully with her co-worker whist I waited for my paint order so I know she was capable of having a chipper personality. I usually do not report comments on surveys but I have worked plenty of customer service jobs myself and I am certain that this is not what Home Depot promotes as good service. I was in need of a certain replacement screw for my oven. The employee I had inquired with directed me to the isle and said he would call someone to that section. I waited there and no one appeared so I proceeded to go to the self-check cashier to follow up on this. Shortly after that, a nice employee did arrive to help. I just felt like I was an inconvenience when I asked for help. I will consider taking my services elsewhere or will have my husband do these errands, as he does not seem to get this treatment when he visits your hardware store. Thanks for your consideration.

The variety of paint, repair items and gadgets you can't live without is in abundance at this Home Depot store (#2217) and this has prompted me to learn what I need to repair my own home. Thank you Home Depot! You are a life saver.

The customer service here was above all the rest. My wife and I needed to have our appliances held until we moved into our new house and the employee made sure it was all arranged. We will do our home improvements here from now on. High five, Home Depot.

I had one of the best customer service experience of my life. It was my first time trying to do DIY stuff. I had very little idea of the tools i needed. Mr. Jacob of Home Depot helped me out with everything in the best possible manner. I really needed the help and i was surprised by Jacob's dedication and the way he helped me out in the most friendly and professional manner possible.

I had an unusually large return and the personnel working in the customer service area worked well as a team to refund my previous purchases and one gentleman offered advice on how to call in and ask for a receipt to be emailed should I need an additional receipt for a rebate. I also received exceptional care in the flooring department, returning one product and selecting another. The employees at this store go out of their way to ensure customer needs are met.

I have shopped at this home depot for years. Have nearly always had the items I was looking for in stock. Check out is fast and easy. Have always received advice when I asked. Store is clean and appears to be well managed. Kudos to the Manhattan Kansas associates!!
