Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a storage sale in 2026?

The Home Depot Garage Storage Sale is here, so start shopping now. From storage bins to tool chests, we've got deals on everything you want for a neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales online or in-store from 6/22–8/18, and make this the year you sort out the shed, garage, and basement.

What do I need for my teen's college dorm?

We have all your dorm essentials. Utilize our moving boxes or storage containers to transport your belongings, and be ready with cleaning wipes and other cleaning products. Make your room your own with area rugs and wall decals. Bring a tub of spackle to fill old nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang wall art and string lights. Extension cords and power strips let you place table lamps, mini fridges, and countertop microwaves where you need them. If you didn't get a new bookbag yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head back to college with helpful products from your Maple Heights Home Depot.

How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?

Be certain your home is set for summer temperatures by replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. On your house's exterior, inspect roof shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that might let water come in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If moisture gets in the crevices, you could be looking at trouble.

Do you offer moving boxes?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, hurricanes, severe thunderstorms, or blizzards, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, don't forget that inverter generators cost more than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop in September 2026?

Head to the Kids Workshop on September 5, 2026, from 9–noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a school bus organizer! Your little builder can assemble their very own organizer for art supplies and small toys.

Poorly managed store
We've recently come here every weekend to get building materials for a fence. The lack of knowledge from the employees overall is painful and concerning. They all seem to be quick to pass the baton to someone else who still doesn't know while they try to find a manager on duty. It took us almost 3 hours to walk out our first go around with 15 fence panels, concrete and 4x4 posts. The second time we placed an online order for pick up hoping it would be faster. Our order was supposed to be done at 3:22 pm, we never got an email and finally called at 6 pm. The manager told us our order hadn't been picked yet and to give then 30 minutes. We waited 30 minutes before leaving, and waited another almost 40 minutes before it was ready. The order was put on a broken pallet that was clearly not the right size for the load and was teetering on the back of our truck. Extremely unsafe and we had to pull over several times to adjust the straps as the pallet continued to break. Overall very frustrating because that should've never been loaded like that to begin with.

STAFF ONLY LOOKING AT THEIR PERSONAL PHONES
When you go to the store many of the floor reps are busy looking at their phones do not even want to pay attention to customers or if they can be of help to the customers - or simply taking a cart from one end of the floor to another - just not a friendly store

                    Kitchen Redo
I went to Home Depot on the 18th of Sep to setup an appointment to have my kitchen redone and I paid $129.00. I was told that I would be contacted within 24 to 72 hours. It is now a week later and I have not heard from anyone.
