We recommend shopping at the Merced Home Depot for excellent service, pricing and knowlegable employees. If you are doing any remodeling or repairs on your home and most important; doing it yourself, you will find everything you will need at this store. We are very happy customers.

I find that Home Depot is one of the best places to shop for home repair and improvement items. The people that work here have taken the old small town Hardware Store feel and incorporated it into their daily operations. While maintaining high standards in Customer Care and Service. I have never been disappointed with my shopping experiences here.

If you need items from Home Depot, but need help when purchasing the items, Home Depot, Merced, is the place to go. All of the employees are extremely nice and helpfull.

On April 26, 2017 I went to Merced Home Depot to buy some plumbing material I needed. I politely requested help. I waited like for 15 minutes and no one showed up. Then , I , again requested help and I did hear on the intercom that they called someone in the Plumbing Dept, well , After another 15 minutes No one came to help me again. I waited around 30 minutes total and no one came to help me at all. So I did tell the cashier about that issue and cashier said , I did call them twice , in which the cashier was right because I even heard when she called for help in the plumbing department, but no one came to help. I wish they can improve on customer assistance. I dont know if I Am the only one who experienced that experience or not, but at that point I left.

There were 3 employees hovered around a computer in the appliance section. I asked if one of them could help and 2 immediately responded with basically a "sure, I'll be there in a minute". Within a minute, we watched as all three left in separate directions, none of which were in mine. After several more minutes of waiting, I went to track one down and was met with an employee who made me feel as if I was an extreme burden. My wife was standing near were the employee and I was talking, in front of her and within earshot, but since we didn't talk to my wife while I was talking to the employee, I doubt she thought we knew each other. Long story short, when I asked a question while looking at a shelf, my wife caught her rolling her eyes in what appeared to be disgust that I was asking another question. She was not very nice (i.e., very unfriendly, border-line rude) while speaking to me and just agreed with me whenever I asked if a specific product would work for my needs (I pointed to an item I knew wasn't, she still said yes). I have submitted a complaint with the store and am awaiting a response. However, on the flip side, as I was checking out in the gardening section, I did meet up with 4 wonderful and very enjoyable-to-speak-with employees that did not hesitate to assist us in gathering and performing the heavy lifting (purchased a lot of bricks of various sizes and styles for some home yard decorating). None of them seemed to mind at all that we were asking for their help and we actually very talkative and friendly. The only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 0 or 1 star is due to them. The other 4 employees (3 at the computer and 1 that "helped" following that) would have made me grant a 0 or 1 star. So, half-n-half. Outside gardening staff were great, inside staff (except the 2 at customer service) that I met were aweful in their responses, follow up, and the one that just didn't want anything to do with us. I do have the names of *most* of the employees we encountered, but not all of them. Not posting here, only upon being contacted by a manager.

As far as items for home improvement, I visit the Merced location quite regularly. On my last visit I was pleased with the variety of plants and the full stock of patio pavers. Other then a very busy day and a slow cashier, my over all experiences with this store is excellent.

Our experience with the Home Depot in Merced, has been excellent. Customer Service in the Pro Desk, has exceeded what was expected. Very customer service driven with great finesse in closing the transaction.

I like shopping at your store, but the big reason I don't frequent your store more often is due to its location. The traffic patterns and traffic signals in that area make it a hassle to get to your store. If your store were located in the Eastern part of Merced CA, I believe it would generate more customers with better access. I realize due to the cost you can't just up and move to another location. When you first built that store in Merced CA I personally thought it was a poor choice of location for your type of store and I think time has proved me correct. You asked for my feed back and those are my thoughts.

We visit Home Depot each month for the children's workshop which we always have fun. The staff there is friendly and helpful. We prefer to go to HD instead of Lowe's.

We were looking for replacement light bulbs and found the aisle for those. However, Home Depot does not carry Sylvania bulbs so I got the wrong size bulb and have to return it. We looked for aerators and found them. We also were directed to the tool section to find the waist/back support band for my husband.

THIS STORE HAS AN EASY TO NAVIGATE LAYOUT. THE EMPLOYEES ARE FRIENDLY AND WILLING TO HELP. THE PRICES ARE BETTER THEN LOWES ON ABOUT 95% OF WHAT THEY SELL. I ENJOY SHOPPING AT THIS HOME DEPOT.

I normally visit Home Depot when I need something for my house. In the last 15 years I am in Merced city I am visiting Home Depot ... may be 4-5 time per year. I always have had good attention and services, I can't complain with any employee. Most of the time I found it what I was looking for.

I am always greeted at the door and asked if I need any help. I like how clear the aisles are marked and if you need help you can always find someone to help you find the product you need.

Kacy was great. While I know the customer is not always right, she addressed the issue, and handled it perfectly. The sales associate, on the other hand, insulted me, by assuring me I was wrong, and he was "99.9%" correct. He became more surly, when he found out I had gone to the manager for assistance; "What's she going to do for you?" What could have been a terrible experience, was turned around graciously, professionally, and with consideration for my feelings. Thank you Kacy!!!

Employee went way beyond what would be expected to help me out of a serious mess, that I created. Best customer service I have experienced.

The guy in paint went above and beyond to make sure I got my water sealer. It had come in stock, but was not on the shelf yet, and he offered to go into the back and get it for me.

Well stocked shelves make it a pleasure to shop. Associates are near to lend assistance if needed. Makes it a pleasant to shop the Merced Home Depot store.

Needed a cooler -a specific size and staff were courteous and helpful with suggestions. Loaded teh cooler promptly and had me on my way!

They just need a little more training where to locate items in the store. They do their best to help!
