My home depot is closer to my home. I will not shop at any other home Depot outside of the one in montville

This is the Best Home Depot in the State of New Jersey! Super Clean, Staff is so polite and helpful. This is Not your average Home Depot. Most products, if not all, are in stock. You leave with a smile. This was my go-to Home Depot when I lived in North Jersey. 5 STARS*****

I am at Home Depot a lot. Always friendly and courteous employees. This time when I went to check out the lady at the check out if I had any coupons or military discount. I told her I have tried to do the military discount sign up online but have been unable to do it. She said lets do it now and I will help you. And she did! I am so glad she walked me through the process and was patient and helpful! Thank you!

Well done. I had to go out of my way to get my materials but overall good job to the employee who responded to my request.

I was looking to purchase quartz countertops for my new kitchen. It was a large purchase and I had a lot of questions. Randall went above and beyond to give me quality and professional service. Answered all my questions and made me feel extremely comfortable. Every time I emailed him, he got back to me right away with the answers I needed. I visited him in the store and he went through everything with me. It is because of him and his knowledge and his patience that I made the large purchase. I highly recommend him. He is wonderful at his job and very easy to talk to and a great listener.

Exceptional Customer Service from Kaina at Home Depot I want to take a moment to recognize the outstanding service I received from Kaina at Home Depot. I came in with a frustrating issue involving faulty sliding doors I had purchased, and Kaina went above and beyond to turn the situation around. From the beginning, Kaina was kind, professional, and genuinely eager to help. Instead of giving me the runaround, she immediately took ownership of the problem. She reached out directly to the manufacturer on my behalf, clearly explained the situation, and followed through until everything was resolved. Thanks to her persistence and thoroughness, I was able to get a full refund — something I didn’t think would be possible after hitting so many dead ends elsewhere. What really impressed me was how much Kaina cared. She treated my problem like it was her own and didn’t stop until she made it right. I came in to buy a circuit breaker for my home. There was no one available at the electronics aisle for over 10 minutes. I went up to the front and asked for help twice. I was reassured that somebody would be paged, but no one came. I then called the store From the store to ask for help. I was yet again reassured that somebody will be right over and waited for another 10 minutes. The gentleman that came by was very helpful and took out the circuit breaker that I needed. Further, the electronic scanning system to ask for assistance, did not work at all. I understand that electronics aren’t perfect, but when I came up twice to the front to ask for assistance, I felt that I was being dismissed and no one paid any attention to me. It’s very disappointing since this is the go to Home Depot for me.

When this location first opened, it was excellent. Over the years it has really gotten bad. The staff seems to hide. Empty shelves while stock is stored up above. Shrinking tool section.

Charles was very helpful ordering my custom blinds. I did not get them yet.

Garage Door Opener Was Easy To Buy. Service & Installation Was IMPOSSIBLE! The Installer FAILED To Show Up or Call! When I Complained The Service Center TOLD ME TO CANCEL The Service!

All employees were great and greeted me with respect. One employee went out of his way to give my dog a treat. But all were great. The checked items for me and much more

I called the Montiville store on 12/8/24 just to be told" Hold please." I held on for 15 minutes then hung up. I called again to receive the same message from the woman answering the phone, "hold please" She did not come back on the line again. I did not hang up but remained on hold and DROVE to the Montiville store. There I asked to speak to the store manager. Iisha immediately took action!! She took a screen shot of my phone, showing I was still on hold for over 37 minutes.She stated she would address this problem with the employees. She then proceeded to immediately offer me 50% off my purchase to compensate the poor customer service I received on the phone. I am so pleased that Iisha took immediate action to insure I would continue to be a Home Depot customer. She is a FABULOUS manager at the Montville, NJ store and should be highly praised for her professional care and customer satisfaction!!! She definitely takes pride in her job!

It is what I buy there. It’s about the experience of go there. People are friendly and helpful. I never feel uncomfortable in the store like I do Bloomfield, New Jersey.

While shopping at this Home Depot store I was greeted by employees. I also was helped in hardware and tools by a knowledgeable employee. The store was well stocked with many different items ,clean and had a variety of sales that interested me. I will return by the end of the week for sale items.

Went to buy a handle and chain to fix my toilet. (Which work fine. So far so good . . . I expect the handle to outlast the 2 year warranty . . .) A young woman at Customer Service asked to help as soon as I stepped in the door. She and another employee directed me to the right section of the store. At checkout, the employee was competent and friendly. You know, as opposed to some places where clerks almost make you feel like you're bothering them. If not actually on their cellphones as they process your transaction . . . The Montville Home Depot has a friendly, helpful vibe. (I know that the guidelines say to avoid writing about customer service, but to me customer service is important.)
