Went in after a day of trying to find a freezer after ours went out. Other locations sent us on a wild goose chase telling us other places had what we needed when they didn’t. This location had one floor model left and were willing to let us buy it. They helped make sure it was working, talked through all warranty questions and they took special care with us to get it in the truck so we could get it back tonight to save all the food that was going to spoil. A really helpful team on a really bad day.

Great customer service and the natural wood selections ( baseboard, qtr round, etc) are usually in good shape and you don't have to sort through to find ones that are suitable for installation. great selection of a variety of products!! Makes it even better when the customer service is 10/10 like at the Newport News Home Deppt!!!! highly recommend

Online and 800-customer service no help. We went to the store customer service desk and Catricia was amazing. She got it figured out, verified in stock, went and got it off the shelf and completed our purchase. Competitors could sure learn from her.

Bought a Dewalt battery chain saw that had been obviously returned. Saw did not work when I got home with it and found the casing melted around the chain drive gear. When the customer service clerk was asked if returned items were verified operable he replied that if it is returned satisfactorily, no. He became beligerent when I asked to see a manager.

Went to store, they were shorthanded, called main store # and Laura came back to help us purchase a dryer for my parents. The whole transaction was less than 10 minutes. Thank you, Laura!

In light of yesterdays mauling at a Colorado Home Depot, this Home Depot needs to reevaluate it's dogs in store, particularly off leash, policy. Mastiff aggressively sniffed me while off leash and loose in store.

I bought paint and brushes today and it was great I had the best experience of being served by a gentleman in the paint department in a lady in the customer service department they were both excellent people that's the type of people we need to work in businesses like this I recommend home Depot

Purchased the exact paint I wanted - had it mixed while I shopped the store for other items I needed. Presentation of merchandise is well done, labelled correctly and priced affordably. It's a happy store to explore!

Visited the store on Dec. 5, 2022 to finalize a new entry door purchase expecting to have to stand around looking for someone that wouldn't be able to help. What a surprise, immediately assisted by a floor Supervisor who tracked down Clarence from Windows and Doors, he was able to complete order, in and out in less than 30 minutes! Awesome!

Although we did not go there for a xmas tree, they had a huge selection, but none out to purchase.

Water heater requires 8-2 wire. The 125 feet roll was in stock.

I had a complicated project, designed to keep our German Shepherd puppy out of the pantry. I explained the project to Seth and he cut the particle board precisely the way I needed it. He showed me where the brackets were and even carried the heavy wood for me. Rasheeda, the cashier, was also extremely friendly. The board is installed and while it has not beautiful, it is saving my sanity from having to run after this puppy because he pulled something off one of the many shelves in this pantry!

The store and employees are always inviting.

I was shopping and I forgot to get a cart, upon shopping an employee approach me and asked if I need any help, and he got me a cart.

This store has the most helpful and friendly salespeople I have come across in a long time. Their store is so well organized, client and the employees are very knowledgeable. We were always able to find someone to help us and answer all our questions.

The patience involved with the large home delivery order that we have to place online using her skills and their computer was just impeccable. I want to thank her for her tremendous help in assisting us and my parents. She and her co-workers were awesome!

The sales associate Marty took his time with helping get spare keys for my new purchase home. Many other places don't take the time and care with customers like Marty did with me. He knows his job and I am glad he was the one that helped me. Hope every customer that comes through the door gets a chance to meet him and get the same treatment I got.

I came not know what the names of some of the products with discriptions I was able to communicate and was help with the best costumer service. Jason, made it easy and very helpful. Thank you Home Depot.

I visited my local Home Depot and was assisted by the most helpful associate. She worked to help me find the product that I was looking for and even helped me find an alternate when the first item was out of stock. The remarkable thing about this is that it was not even her department. She just saw that I was puzzled trying to find something and she offered to help. Excellent customer service at its finest.

I always buy everything from Home Depot but this branch always makes me feel special, they are always so happy and helpful
