couldn't find item, had to go looking for associate - plenty in store just didn't have anyone ask if I needed help. Was overcharged for an item at checkout and I brought the pricing to the cashier's attention and ended up leaving that item off my purchase,

Even though we had a return to make and were coming in at the busiest time of year - Dec. 19 - our transaction was handled promptly. We were greeted at the door by a most helpful gentleman who directed us where we needed to be. It was conveniently located and there was adequate staff to handle our transaction promptly. We were in and out much quicker than expected.

Cashier was very courteous, pleasant and efficient.

We first went to Lowe's to purchase a specific Christmas gift. No one offered to help us locate the item. We had to find an associate who did not even respond verbally to our request. He just started walking to the item then pointed to it with his foot. Then left...still no verbal communication. Dissatisfied, we drove the short distance to Home Depot where we were welcomed as soon as we walked in the door. On our way to the correct department, we were asked by several associates if we needed help. When we arrived at our department, we were immediately assisted. Well done, Home Depot. You are my first stop now.

Assistance and depth of stock is why I choose HD. So, Just how much stuffing shall I do here. I thought the comment would show the major pluses of HD over L's shallow (many times) inventory. Hum, let's see if this was long enough.

I stopped by on a whim hoping I would find a wreath for the door. I saw them nicely organized on an outside display, RObert, a very nice sales associate let me know where I could pick up a cart. I asked about tree decorations and he directed me to the inside of the nursery area where trees were sold. FOund everything I needed to complete decorating my tree. I picked up the wreath, and RObert checked me out with no delay. Very successful trip!

The employees are very sensitive to whether you need detailed help or you just need them to help you get out the door quickly. This is much appreciated from one who requires both extremes depending on the day and the problem.

I USED TO GO TO THE HIXSON LOWES, BUT GOT TO WHERE I COULD NEVER GET WAITED ON. I FINALLY GOT UPSET AND WENT TO HOME DEPOT, AND GLAD I DID.

Everyone at the Home Depot in Hixson,TN has always taken great care of me. I'm in there often enough that many of the associates know me and call me by name in greeting as I enter the store. They have been so helpful and patient with me as I figure out the many projects I've undertaken around my house and have earned my loyalty as a very satisfied customer.

The customer service rep at the desk when I visited was extremely kind and helpful. I wish I had gotten her name so that I could give her the credit she deserves.

I was looking for down-spout and an elderly lady who was putting up supplies asked of she could help me. She took me to the proper department and also gave me info on another item I needed that was in the gardening area. She was of super help and I am sorry I did not get her name.

This store is the best. I am doing a home remodel and because of prices and the associates I got everything here. I checked prices and they have everyone beat. Even after already having the lowest prices I sent my purchases to the bid room and the prices dropped even more. Everyone I dealt with at this store were amazingly helpful especially Kevin in appliances and Jessica the front end manager. If you have home improvement projects to do I'd definitely start here. You will save a lot of time and money.

I always have a good experience at this store. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. The associates are very knowledgeable and willing to answer all of my questions. If they do not know the answer, they will find someone who does. Great store!! Keep up the good work!!

Great greeters, return desk folks were helpful and sweet (Mary in particular), but I had a terrible experience that was made worse by poor service. A cashier overcharged me by about $120 on Saturday. I didn't double check my receipt before I left, big mistake! I checked the next morning and realized how much I was over charged for. The cashier rung me up for 2 20' bundles of PVC piping instead of 2 10' bundles. On top of that, he charged me for 24 pieces of flex rise when I only purchased 5. I called the store in the morning and let them know. I asked how I needed to go about getting a refund. The clerk advised me that the only way to get a refund is to bring the items back and "prove" that they are the wrong side. I asked if there was any way I could just bring the receipt because the only way I could get them back was using a rental truck that I had to return that morning. The associate reiterated there was no refund unless I "prove" that it was the right size. I do a lot of business with this store and I'm an honest man. I was disgusted that he thought I was just trying to rip them off. It ended up costing me money in rental truck miles not to mention a bunch of time and effort on my Sunday. Don't make the same mistake I did, double and triple check your receipts! If they make a mistake (which is fine and only human) the burden will be on you to prove you're not a criminal. You will get no benefit of the doubt.

All the employees were busy. the store was neat, organized and clean. i had a full buggy so an associate opened a register to check me out.
