Day laborers have been wandering around the parking lot for years. A few years ago my truck was broken into and expensive tools stolen. Today, a new one: a lady opened a full blown Tamale stand right in the middle of the parking lot.

I have been going to the North Hollywood Home Depot for years. I am now retired so my FIY projects have slowed down but I still count on Home Depot for competitive prices on batteries, hardware( very good prices) paint, gardening tools I recently bought put together steel shelving for my garage and have been very satisfied with the quality. I bought some years ago and they have passed the test of time. I still prefer using retail stores as much as possible so I can get up and personal with the item to assure myself it is the quality I want. Returning items is easy with a receipt and 90 days is definitely generous time frame for returning.

I had to pay someone to pick up my purchase because it was too large for me to handle. She waited outside in the car for 20 minutes after calling finally went in the store and had to stand and wait another 20 minutes for someone to bring the purchase out to her car if you don't have enough staff to do curbside service in a normal amount of time you shouldn't offer it.

In this day and age of online everything, we really love our brick-and-mortar Home Depot. We can spend hours here, perusing the selection and getting ideas. The associates are helpful and friendly. It's nice to be able to run and grab stuff we need as ideas/inspiration strikes.

Customer Service had a forklift driver and additional staff bring pavers to my truck to self load! Super convenient and saved me a $70 delivery fee.

I've been shopping from this store since 2009, when I moved to the area and, be honest, this store has been changed a lot, and to the better side or way. It is more organized than before, has more quality merchandise than before and most of all, their employees are more courteous and knowledgeable than before. Number one place for all your needs. Thank you and keep up the good work

Fast, clean, short fines and friendly people

The Appliance staff were all very helpful. There were problems with the first unit being dented, the second unit having a warped storage drawer, the control panel failing and needing a software update, and of course the waiting for delivery and installation dates. But in the midst of it all, I had the full cooperation and support of Home Depot and GE and their service and delivery staff.

The prices are good. However, ALL of the payment readers are terrible. They constantly fail, forcing me to insert the card multiple times, sometimes even bending it downward just to get the chip to read. This is absurd—it’s been the same issue for years. On top of that, you don’t even accept MasterCard unless it’s run as debit. Frankly, I’ve started going to other vendors who have modern, reliable payment systems. This is critical—vendors should not have to struggle just to pay. I only go to Home Depot if I have to, and not because I have a good experience, all other services are good but hard to get help half the time. Since I'm posting a review, they force you to enter your email address, then send you lots of spam or 'communications' as they put it. Just be aware.

Lisa helped us in the flooring department and she was wonderful!! She was very knowledgeable about the products and could answer all our questions. She seemed very dedicated to her job and to us having a positive experience purchasing our new carpet from Home Depot. She is an excellent employee!!

Shopping there is getting better and better, with great parking, helpful staff, and short lines. BTW, if you need to return something with or without a receipt, it's always easy.

This a busy location, a lot of contractors and usually with a crowded parking lot especially near the doors), so if you see a space - take it & walk the short distance. Most of the registers are "self-chevk-out" , but staffed with plenty of helpers. There ARE a few staffed registers.

I bought Ryobi hedge trimmer and weed whacker. The assistant was extremely helpful. Also needed a PVC sprinkler part and that assistant was exceptional and found it for me in a flash!

Home Depot is great company. However, some if it's employees need training on customer service Other employees need training on location of products. Some of then just answer when ask were to find a product. "I do not know or it maybe in aile 2 or 3". The company need to training it's employees.

I needed some plants and mulch for a project I finished early. HD has great plants that are ready to pop in a hole and look perfect. I found the ones I wanted, and they had 3 sizes

Everyone is always helpful

I chose Home Depot to make my closet they charge $$$$ but have bad experience. They damaged my closet, it supposedly lifetime, I complained even I complained customer complained office no one wants to come over to look and fix. Unfortunately I’m not home to take and add phone.

I stopped by last night looking for a 32x32x1 piece of pegboard. Every employee was extremely friendly and helpful. They helped me find the right product and showed me how to install it. He then carried my products to a register before he went to the next customer who was asking for help. Awesome store!

The best homedepot I’ve ever been to.

Good luck finding a cart good luck finding a parking spot and good luck finding the store clean. There's trash throughout the parking area. There's nowhere to park because fruit vendors are taking up stalls and food vendors are taking up stalls. The manager could care less.
