OLYMPIA Home Depot on 10/24/2024, no labels or prices on panel goods. One choice on 1/2 in plywood according to an employee. Purchased Sandply, which when I got it back to the shop, HAD A HORRIBLE ODOR. I will never shop their lumber department again.

Staff at the store is the Best , just awesome

Employees are very helpful here

Recently I had an experience in the garden department at this Home Depot. The cashier was friendly, efficient and most helpful. I wanted to buy a plant to give to someone special as we were leaving town that morning. This cashier helped find exactly the plant that I wanted to buy and helped wrap it so it looked pretty to give as a gift. I have had only positive experiences at this store.

The employee at the service desk i don’t know her name but she was great Helped me load 25 large pieces of lumber into the truck I wanted to tip her but she refused so I want to have her recognized as an excellent employee

I had a very difficult problem that was pretty tough to solve. The entire team of Tosh, Tina, Kate, Matt, Michael, and several other folks who I did not get the name of jumped in to help solve the problem! Tosh was the one who figured it out and took extra time and care to get me the product that I needed. She was absolutely amazing and so was the rest of the team. I can’t thank her enough. It’s too bad. She is leaving Olympia and going to another store in a different part of the country. However the rest of the team was also fantastic and I will continue to shop there. No removal of dirt or stains.

I went into this location to take advantage of a promotional offer Home Depot currently has - purchase a qty: [2] 4ah RIDGID Starter Battery Pack and select one free RIDGID tool. The first time I went in, I was told that the offer was online only. Okay, I showed the sales associates (yes two were telling me this) that there is an option to purchase this in store and it goes from the online price of $139.00 to $99.00. What do you get for that $99.00? I was then misled to believe that that price gets you the batteries only and not a free tool. I started to fill out the order online and then came across a Reddit post where one individual talked about this specific promo - he was able to go in ring up the battery back, ring up his free tool, all for $99.00. I ended up calling the store back and talking to the manager. She heard me out and then took the battery pack along with the tool I wanted to select and rang them up. The register rang them up just fine and all for $99.00 like the HomeDepot.com indicated. She sent me a quote so I went back to the store for the second time today. I was surprised when I was met with a second sales associate who expressed skepticism about the offer. I explained that I had just spoken to your manager and she rang up the items saying that the promotion worked. He still went on to say that we'll need to test it especially if I'm "trying to get a tool for free." I'm not "trying" anything! I'm simply trying to make a purchase that their very own website was advertising? He walked the items up to the register as per normal procedure and scanned them. He said it worked as if he expected it not to. I've been shopping at Home Depot for 30 years and have never had a bad shopping experience until today and unfortunately this one was a whopper. I was simply trying to purchase a circular saw using an ad that Home Depot itself listed. Two trips and 4 hours later I guess at least I can say that I accomplished that.

I bought two large and heavy ceramic pots that were reasonably priced. They will add a lot to my garden.

I was in this location to re-apply for depot card after a few years of being inactive, and to make a purchase. The associates that helped in the process were all so easy to work with friendly and helpful. By far, one of the best experiences I've ever had. Seriously! Some good people here.

I have been shopping at the Olympia store for many years. I have seen a vast improvement in the quality of customer service and the care your employees take with their customers. Your employees are doing a great job. I am extremely happy with the improvement in your management team. A wonderful young lady (Cassandra) was and has been great to work with. Cassandra goes out of her way to make sure I am getting the customer service I and all your customers deserve.

The Olympia Home Depot is slightly smaller than some of the larger stores but it still has a good variety of all the essentials available. They can order in anything you want if you’re unable to find a product. That is just like any other Home Depot as many products are available that none of the stores stock regularly. For the most part the employees are friendly and the service is adequate. More employees would always be great but all you need to do is find one and ask for help. It’s not the same experience as the hardware stores or lumber yards that existed 40 years ago but that is a thing of the past. They do a pretty good job of making a large store feel a little more like your local hardware store used to feel like than other stores. I am a regular customer (several trips a week) I’m in the store enough that I can point customers to the right isle faster than some employees can and I might have a slightly different experience with staff that I see regularly than a first time customer might but the employees are helpful if you ask no matter who you are. Like all lumber yards, if you are purchasing dimensional lumber make sure you inspect the lumber you purchase. Mills are just not putting out the quality of lumber as they used to and building straight walls is much easier when using the straightest lumber you can find. The pro desk has always been super helpful, trying to meet all my needs by going above and beyond. Often times they won’t accept the first answer that they get from their suppliers and I have been pleasantly surprised a number of times when they have sourced materials I didn’t think they would be able to find for me.

Exceptionally helpful guys assisted with my purchase of mulch and brought it to my car and loaded it for me. Everyone I encountered in my visit to the store was very cheerful and helpful.

I love shopping at this store. It is easy to find parking (I am disabled) and checkout is always a breeze. Very helpful and pleasant customer service. There are closer home improvement stores to me, but I go out of my way to shop here.

Thank you for calling over the other store and having them pull items as there were not enough left ! and for checking they were in stock and making the call.

I had a leaky shutoff valve that needed urgent repair. No plumber available and Sales associate helped to get the right product and installation to resolve the problem on my own

I simply love the parking at this location, it's a small thing, but it is the small stuff in the end that can make all the differences.
