Excellent customer service!
Purchased a Husky tool chest. It was in stock, but hard to get to. Jovanny went above and beyond the limits to get the item to my truck and load it for me. Awesome customer service!

        not very good...
Here are five things a cashier can do to improve their skills in dealing with customer returns: 1. Understand Return Policies: Familiarize yourself with the store's return policies and procedures. This knowledge will help you confidently and accurately communicate with customers about their options and any applicable rules or limitations. 2. Practice Active Listening: When a customer approaches you with a return, give them your undivided attention. Listen carefully to their concerns or reasons for returning the item. This will help you empathize with them and provide appropriate solutions or alternatives. 3. Remain Calm and Patient: Dealing with customer returns can sometimes be challenging, especially if the customer is upset or frustrated. Stay calm and patient throughout the interaction. Remember that your role is to assist them and find a satisfactory resolution. 4. Offer Solutions, Not Arguments: Instead of arguing or trying to convince the customer to keep the item, focus on providing viable solutions. Be prepared to offer alternatives such as exchanges, store credits, or refunds, depending on the store's policies. Try to find a mutually beneficial outcome for both the customer and the store. 5. Continuously Improve Product Knowledge: Enhance your understanding of the products sold in your store. Knowing the features, benefits, and potential issues of different items will enable you to address customer concerns more effectively. Additionally, you can provide accurate information about warranties or guarantees, which can contribute to a positive return experience. By implementing these practices, cashiers can enhance their skills in handling customer returns, fostering better relationships with customers, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Poorly trained staff. Horrible customer service.
Purchased a Samsung front loading, stackable washer. Was clear to the sales clerk that I was stacking it with an existing Samsung front loading dry. He said no problem. Completed the order, paid for delivery and installation. Took 1/2 a day off work for the 4 hour delivery window. 1 hour prior to delivery was called and told they would not do the installation, and would just drop off the washer. That was not what I paid for, so I called and canceled the order. Drove down to Home Depot and then was told they could not process the cancellation until the delivery truck returned that evening. So I would have to come back a 3rd time to get my refund.
