Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting plastic plant pots, CFLs, lead acid batteries, and rechargeable batteries for recycling.
Our stores sent approximately 5.3M pounds of shredded paper for recycling in 2022. This helped the planet by preserving over 63.5K trees. It kept over 16K trash bags of solid waste out of landfills, saved over 50M gallons of water, and conserved 7.8M kilowatt hours of electricity.
LED lights in your local store cut energy consumption by 98 million kilowatt hours. Many stores also participate in renewable energy initiatives such as wind and solar.

Is it good to have a generator at home?
We've got the variety you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When browsing generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows.
How can I prepare my home for spring temperature changes?
Ready your home for spring temperature swings by replacing any broken or faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. If water freezes in any crevices, you could be headed for trouble. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofing panels for damage or rust that could let water in. Gutters should be cleaned to prevent ice dams if you're prone to frozen precip as the seasons change. Check cinder block and bricks for cracks, and verify indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. Lastly, change vinyl siding and chimney caps if they're damaged.
What benefits do doorbell cameras have?
Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window or peephole when you can watch visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful to scare off wannabe porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
