What additional precautions is The Home Depot taking in light of COVID-19?
The adjusted hours give stores the ability to staff appropriately and provide additional time to restock shelves and perform cleaning. As part of our normal practice, our stores and other facilities are cleaned and sanitized daily. Following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we've increased the frequency of cleaning and general hygiene maintenance in stores and other locations. We've also stepped up our efforts to disinfect high-traffic and high-touch areas like self-checkout, door handles, and bathrooms, as well as posting signage about handwashing and other preventative actions.
We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. In addition to training our associates on social distancing, we've placed distancing markers at some of our checkout counters and are making overhead announcements on our store PA systems asking customers to practice social distancing.

Today I had an awesome shopping experience at this store. As a home owner I was at the store today to buy a replacement for a door lock. I had already visited another competitor store in the vicinity and they were unable to assist me with providing me the right information about how I could buy a replacement door lock and have my existing keys re-keyed so I do not end up having to replace all the locks in my house as well as the keys. The sales associate in the hardware department gave me excellent customer service, was very professional, friendly and helped me select the right product for my needs. He also helped re-key the new lock to my existing keys without any issues. I was very pleased with his professionalism and customer service skills. Thank you Gary!

The store is always clean and they have just about everything you would ever need for your house projects. If you need help at Home Depot, be sure to ask for Mark. If he's not available ask for Lyn. They were absolutely terrific helping me way above and beyond today.

Rudest employees I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. I went in looking for a particular item and the associate in the garden center went out of his way to avoid helping me. When I got to the register and tried to explain to the kid up front he just asked if I went down a specific aisle and checked a specific bay. When I told him where I had checked he informed me that if I didn't see them then that was all he could do. No offer to have the garden center check or any offer to match the price of the larger pack. I spoke with the manager and he didn't offer to check. He transferred my call to the garden associate who was also too important to bother and barely said three words before throwing my call on hold. I will definitely not be returning to this location. Awful!!!

The over all store was in good condition but the condition of the customer service was very poor....

The over all store was in good condition but the condition of the customer service was very poor. Employees need to pay attention to the customers who pay their salaries. If you want a store that allows employees to talk down to customers this is the store. Wait time to enter the store on a Friday at 5:00pm was 45 min, mainly because of an employee named Steve not doing his job.
