How do I stop cold air from coming in at the bottom of the door?
If you have cold air seeping in under the door, check your door sweep, the rubber piece on the door bottom, for cracks and missing pieces. Replace it if it's torn or otherwise damaged. When a house settles unevenly, pieces that once fit snugly can go off-kilter. Gaps can form around the sides of doors or the thresholds may loosen with time. Fill the space with weather stripping or foam tape, and caulk any cracks in the wooden door frame. If you're still feeling drafts around the door, place an insulated fabric door snake along the ground.

What are good wintertime DIY projects?
When the temperatures drop outside, it's challenging to work outdoors. However, cleaning up the yard before spring gives the earth time to settle and reset before plants start growing again. A few days cleaning the shed, garage, or basement will pay off when spring comes. If your tools and gardening supplies are all set, tackle cleaning the rest of the house. Get out the cleaning supplies and cleaning tools, then give everything a good scrub.

How can chainsaws help with tree and yard cleanup?
If you didn't gather up fallen branches or yard debris in the fall, handle it when the weather moderates in the spring. Use chainsaws to remove broken or dead branches from trees. Trimming damaged wood keeps your trees healthier. Oil up your Makita chainsaw before using it, and swap out any rusted or dull chains. Unless you're a trained arborist, please leave tree removal to the professionals. Trees already on the ground can be cut up and hauled away.

    Always a great experience!!!
I have shopped this location for 21 years and have never had a bad experience with the staff, product availability, or knowledgeable staff. Throughout the years I have visited this store for every home improvement need. From bathroom refinishes, flooring, kitchen repair, inside/outside door repair, children's school projects, hobby needs, and just general fix-r-up project's. Mike D. In flooring was so incredibly helpful. He offered to hand saw some lumber for a shelf I was fixing because the saws in the back of the store were out of order. He was so kind and offered A++ customer service. So rare these days! Please give Mike D. Recognition and a generous raise! Your company needs employees like him! Thank you, Mike D!

              Appreciate a employee
The service we got with Dinato was super good. He went above and beyond to make sure he kept us informed on the progress of getting a item we needed off the shelf that was up out of reach.

                Great help from staff
One of the associates Don was awesome finding a product that was looking for. There weren't any left on the shelf, he found it in the alternative storage location, had a forklift get it down and helped me get the ideal blade for my project.
