Very good experience
Dominique Gilles went out of his way to make sure I got the color of paint I needed. I took a sample of the existing color to him. He matched it perfectly. He also assisted other customers while assisting me. I was impressed that he did not ignore the others. This young man is certainly an asset to The Home Depot Family.

The pleasure of shopping at Home Depot
I walked in the door asked the first store associate I saw, and was sent to the right place. I picked up what I needed and headed for the cashier, realized I really didn't know how to use or install it, so I asked the rep that was standing in front of the self check out lines - She was very helpful. I left knowing just what to do. The store was clean, the workers were helpful and nice. A PLEASURE!

Great Store experience
I purchased some installed flooring at this store recently and was extremely pleased with the knowledge and helpfulness of the store associate that I dealt with (Betsy). I will be returning soon to complete the rest of my project soon and will certainly be looking for her again.

Terrific experience
As new homeowners we have visited several of the Home Depots in our general area and while we find them mostly helpful this store took it to another level. We were there this past Sunday morning and the store was thanking clients for being clients mostly. Just thanking them over the PA for different moments and at certain intervals and when that announcement was made the store associates all whooped. Initially it took us by surprise to hear the announcement but we found ourselves (my husband and I) looking forward to the announcement and we whooped right along with the associates. We walked up and down many aisles during this shopping trip and I can tell you that everyone in that store on Sunday morning had a smile on their face. It was fun!

Excellent customer service
I went to exchange a fan that I have purchased at that store. I left the fan in my car thinking they could fix the part that had a screw stocked in it so they had an associate go to my car to take the fan back, search for a new one and bring it back to my car. These are the little things that I really appreciate specially if I didn't ask for it. Thank you Home Depot for making a difference!

Great associates!
I asked a lot of questions of James today. He was so knowledgeable and helpful, and patient. Taught me quite a bit, and helped me decide which grab bars to purchase for installation in a bathroom. Gave me many tips on installing a toilet, caulking, pre-drilling and more. It was a fun experience at Home Depot.
I was extremely pleased with the service. Staff was very helpful. Store was also very clean. Great set up.

Found this location difficult to buy a full retail $ 200 item
Parked on South side and entered store to buy a Ryobi 2000 PSI pressure washer . All of the 2000 PSI models @ MSRP of $ 199 were shoved under the lowest shelf . Since I went there directly from work I had to crawl on my hands and knees on a filthy floor to drag out a heavy box. I was amazed that they would have 6 1700 PSI models @ $159 within easy reach yet bury the more powerful model out of reach . Why not have 3 of each on display and within easy access. ? I struggled to get it into my basket then to add insult to injury there are no cash registers on the south side of store so I had to walk 500 yards to the north side of store to check out , walk outside and then 500 yards back south to my car . All this with no help from anyone .

Online Nightmare... To Amazing Experience
I purchased a Rheem electric water heater online from the Pembroke Pines Home Depot store and opted to pick it up the next morning, and I made an appointment with my plumber at 10:00 am to install the unit.
I checked my online order status throughout the day and noticed a problem. It appeared my bank suspected possible credit card fraud, and rejected the online purchase pending transaction verification from me. I contacted my bank, verified the purchase, and discovered that I had to initiate a new purchase order from Home Depot, as the prior order was now canceled. Murphy's Law, overzealous bank fraud detection algorithms...
So I started another online purchase for the Rheem electric water heater I had selected and began again. The Online order went through, item in stock at Pembroke Pines HD, all seemed good.
I kept checking my online order status (nice feature) and noticed I did not receive confirmation from HD that my Rheem unit was/ would be available for pick up. Concerned, I called HD and spoke with HD Associate Pam. She was very helpful and knowledgable, and began to assist me.
Somehow the Rheem unit I just purchased that showed "in stock" online was not found in the store. Pam searched the store, called me back, and verified there was a problem in locating the unit.
Several phone calls later we found 2 available (also online) at the Hialeah HD, but when Pam called to verify availability, they were not located in store... Uh oh...
Pam saw my predicament (already paid with credit card/ meeting plumber/ no unit available ) and did all she could to locate a unit. The unit was eventually found in the Pines store, labled "damaged". Pam left a detailed note for the order desk explaining what happened to my online order, that I would arrive early the next morning (Pam would be off ) coordinating a wonderful follow up message to start to fix my online purchase issue. Thank you Pam, that would prove to be critical...
In the morning (remember I had an appointment with the plumber) I went to the Pembroke Pines HD online order desk, and the friendly associates were already coordinating a solution to my problem. My exact Rheem model I selected was verified not available at any store, and suggested I select a similar model that was in the store floor stock.
I found another Rheem unit, similar measurements, but better quality/ more capacity/ more expensive and other associates loaded it on a cart for me, locating optional plumbing connections that I would need and were also very helpful.
Store Mgr. Erick then introduced himself, and I explained my experience with the online purchase, and Erick explained this was not a common problem and apologized for my trouble. Erick then graciously discounted the Rheem unit $100.00! (remember this was a MUCH BETTER unit than the one I purchased online) definitely making up for my trouble :)
But it gets even better !
Erick even arranged a complementary (no cost WoW ! ) HD pick-up truck rental to allow me to drop off my new Rheem unit (meeting my plumber with plenty of time to spare) saving me time/ trouble/ effort (having to modify my vehicle with tie-downs & string) making delivery super EZ ! The HD pick-up truck was ready & waiting for me after I loaded my Rheem unit, and Erick and other helpful HD employees LOADED it on the truck & handed me the keys...
WOW !!! Talk about turning a bad experience around, these guys went above and beyond to make a disappointing online experience into a most memorable POSITIVE experience.
Thank you all SO MUCH ! Your competition (starts with an "L" , rhymes with lows) has never treated me this well...

Excellent associate assistance
I needed assistance replacing internal parts of a leaking bathroom valve. Mr. Rob, from the pluming department, not only helped me find the repair kit I needed, but also suggested an alternative replacement part that was more effective and easier to install. I took his recommendation instead of following my original plan, which worked out perfectly when I replaced the broken valve at home. Talking to experienced associates that truly care about helping their customers' by providing alternatives when needed, instead of just pointing out the isle where a part is located, is one of the aspects that I value the most when it comes to home projects that I fix myself. Thank you!

stop hiding the larger clearance items in hardware just let me know
i like this store because i can get in & out pretty quickly
the staff is pretty sharp
its clean and well stocked
i would appreciate it if the clearance items were not a secret it appears that the larger clearance items
are hidden and not well marked
thats HIDDEN as if the employees are not allowing the customers or maybe select customers to know
and if you inquire nobody knows nuthin thats my only compliant really
