Can I fix drafty windows?

If your old windows need replacing but you need to make it through the winter first, seal them up tight for best results. Caulk the gaps, then seal the whole window using a window insulation kit with plastic film and a hair dryer. Add fabric insulation snakes along the bottom for extra warmth. Finally, trap and warm the air around the windows with blackout curtains or heavy drapes. Replace the windows as soon as possible.

What are good wintertime DIY projects?

When the temps drop outside, it's challenging to work outdoors. However, cleaning up the yard before spring gives the earth time to resettle before plants start growing again. A few days organizing and cleaning the garage, shed, or basement will pay off when spring comes. You won't have to replace lost power tools with new ones because you can find what you've got. Polish up the tools, clean the rest of the house with cleaning supplies, and you'll be ready when the cold moderates and the sun comes out.

How can chainsaws help with tree and yard cleanup?

If you've got spare wood and extra wooden pallets sitting in the weeds, chop them up with a chainsaw in the spring so you can dispose of them or store them properly. Spring is a good time to organize the firewood pile and trim any broken branches from trees too. Before firing up your Milwaukee chainsaw, ensure that the chain isn't rusted or dull and that it's been oiled. Then, while wearing the proper safety equipment, use your gas or electric chainsaw to cut the wood. Make pieces the same size for easier storage.

Yes, the Ponce store offers in-person Kids Workshops. These in-store events are free and take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am and noon. You may reserve your Kids Workshop kit by registering online for the event. Each month features a unique and exciting new kit pack to keep little doers engaged. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Any required tools, such as paint, are provided at the workshop. Customers who prefer not to participate in the in-person event can pick up their free kit in-store or order online at our Kids Projects Activities page to have it shipped to their home. Call us or visit our customer service counter to check the availability of the kits.

the best in my area

i bought two of these beauties for my son new home and they look awesome installed on thing i would recommend that the showroom should lower the items or make it so we could see the top of them it would be very helpfull and also please star the workshops againg please.
