I prefer this Pontiac Home Depot store (#2701) over the Farmington Hills one (#2773). Pontiac HD store = large, well-stocked, clean, very organized; employees actually care and ALL of them (that I've dealt with so far) WILL help and go an extra (2) miles to help (not just 1 !). I have been impressed by, and have a lot of respect for the following people: Mr Hendricks, Mr. Kim Marshall, Mr. Greg, (Doors and Windows), Mrs Kathryn (Cust service Desk), and a few others (I am sorry, I don't remember all of your names). All of them take their time to truly listen to you and find ways to help and save you $$$. Farmington Hills store (#2773) - meh. Employees are just average, extremely few go an extra mile, and some of them are not even in the mood to help customers (lumber department comes in mind on a few occasions - left me with a sour taste).

I love shopping at this store. Everyone is always so helpful, friendly and knowledgable there. If one person does not the the answer to a particular question I have, and I have many, they will always find someone for me. The item I was looking for is invariably in stock. Thank you.

This store and the whole staff is excellent. They are very knowledgeable and will go out of their way to help you and if you do not understand something they will make sure you do so you can start your project the proper way. The employees at this location obviously do not like their jobs. It's evident by their bad attitudes and unwillingness to smile and be friendly. I guess I'll keep shopping at the White Lake store where I am always greeted with a warm smile and offered assistance. The store conditions are much better as well.

Staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure that I was taken care of promptly. I ran into an associate that I had talked to earlier and he remembered what I had been looking for earlier and asked if I had found the particular item. That's great customer service in my book!

The service desk is always so very helpful and accommodates all of our needs as a business. They go above and beyond and that is something we LOVE about this Home Depot.

I was there again to use the rest of my gift card that I'd saved for what I needed. The card was an issue, after previously using it partial, and the gals at the front desk fixed it. I guess it wasn't the first time this occurred & they got it straightened out at my time of need there. They took care of it. I still had the receipt from using a little on it the first time, so that helped, I'm sure. All in all, they were very helpful there & took care of the problem. HD is my fave for my housework needs. I give a 10.

Most of the cashiers here are really friendly with me and seem to do the best that they can. I only wish that they were more knowledgeable of the store and its contents so that I didn't have to wait so long to receive an answer to any questions I may have. It's almost like they never even got shown around the store even once.

I feel that if more of the employees were better educated on departments other than their assigned position, there would be a lot more progress made, and there would be much higher customer satisfaction. I'm tired of coming up to people wearing a generic orange apron with a question, only to be redirected to three different people. Either that, or I must wait 10-15 minutes on someone from a specific department to come to me, either because they are busy with someone else, or they simply will not pick up the phone. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be for the employees with how frustrated I and many other customers find ourselves. Also, waiting 15 minutes to have someone help me load my heavy purchases is absolutely ridiculous. There should be more than one position allowed to do that. There are a lot of employees at this THD location that act like they would rather be anywhere but there. Which is completely understandable, considering the line of work they are in. But work is work, and we all have our own lives to attend to. I have three children at home that require my attention, and when an associate of Home Depot has the ability to assist me, but takes a ridiculous amount of time to do so and acts more than a little frustrated in the process, it does not make me want to come back to that building. I return for the kind individuals that smile when they see me, and make me feel welcome in the building. Trust me when I say that I remember those people. Positivity will get you far in life, and to those people I say "Keep it up."

Buying a new washing machine was actually fun with the associate who helped me. She was knowledgable, patient and not pushy. I had researched several machines ahead of time, and they were in stock for me to look at each one. It made decision making a breeze. The sale price was a big factor as well.

New updated stock, lighting fixtures were sparse. Would of made purchase of a led light fixture but it was out of stock, have to purchase on line if I decide, now
