This is a great store the staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Employees are always willing to assist. I feel at home when I visit Home Depot especially in the Portage store.

We received some excellent service from Matt, Barb K, and Deb when we were shopping for appliances. Highly recommend the store because of them!

Knowledgeable staff and friendly chasers make for a quick trip for just what you need or a leisurely stroll through the isles as you wander through the big spaces and friendly faces.

There was not enough product on the shelf. Employees got what we needed and filled the shelf. We were not within the store we were in the outdoor area. Additional help came so supplies could be reloaded and helped load our cart and out to our truck. Just what you would expect --- people "doing" their job. They were pleasant and had a very good attitude about helping.

This review is for the Tool Repair department only. Mike, the repair technician has met or exceeded my expectations each time I've utilized their service. All the employees in this department are friendly and helpful.

Steph was an outstanding cashier. So helpful.

The cashier in the garden area was kind and assisted in quickly finding employees to help find the item I needed as well as load bags of rocks and fertilizer onto a cart and into my car.

Rented a wire welder, took it home used it for almost 10 minutes and it ran out of wire. contacted store and rental clerk told me that I could have purchased more. when I returned it I mentioned it again and the lady said they will make sure to put more in it before it goes out again. did not even apologize!

This store is large, clean, and well stocked. You can get as much help or as little help as you like. The prices are good, and the selection is great. I would recommend it. We go there all the time.

I Received great service from Michael in the plumbing dept. He took a lot of time with me to help me find the right parts for my toilet tank and he even helped me look online to find the correct part that goes with my actual manufacturer. I also appreciated that Geoff, helped me save $35 dollars on my order by getting a HOME DEPOT credit card. Great job, everyone!

As a frequent shopper to Home Depot and Lowes, I have to say my experience at the Portage Home Depot was far superior to others. The staff was incredibly friendly and went over the top in hopes of helping me out. My only wish is that other HD's (especially the ones near me) follow the same suit. The store was clean, well lit and virtually no lines.

I love this store! It's always well stocked, and the employees bend over backwards to help you. No pressure when buying...they make sure that you get what you need, within the budget you are working with. I have never had a bad experience in this store, and am so happy that it's close by.

Really appreciate the courtesy and help I receive when I go to the Home Depot. All the sales team are knowledgeable, friendly and ready to go the extra yard to ensure the project works for the customer. My experience is that if there is something a sales person thinks I need further help with he/she will call in someone who has more expertise in that particular department. Being a senior, I enjoy shopping at Home Depot.
