Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's on sale for the Spring Deals event in 2026?

Another huge spring sale is here, so get ready to save money. Whether you're doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools or upgrading your home with new appliances, we've got what you want. Be sure to check out our mulch, outdoor power equipment and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23/26 through 5/10/26 and enjoy your new products year-round.

How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Make certain your home is set for spring temperature changes by replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. On the outside of your home, examine shingles for damage or tears that may let water seep in. Vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to winter storms. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If moisture freezes inside the cracks, you might be looking at a problem.

Do you have specialty moving boxes?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, hurricanes, severe thunderstorms, or blizzards, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

When is the Home Depot Kids Workshop in May?

Drop by our Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to assemble a keepsake box! Your little builder can put together their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. Remember to leave enough time to decorate your box with stickers!
