Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a spring sale?

Enjoy some of the best savings of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that to-do list as the weather brings sunny cheer. It's also a great time for organizing your home with the perfect storage, doing lawn and garden work outdoors, and setting up appliances indoors. Be sure to upgrade your patio furniture and outdoor power equipment as well. Get everything done when you save during our Spring Deals sale that runs from 4/23/26 through 5/10/26. Don't miss out on these bargains.

How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be confident your home is ready for springtime weather changes by repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If moisture freezes inside the cracks, you could be looking at trouble. On the exterior of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for damage that can let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to ice storms and snow. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

What's your selection of moving boxes like?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, remember that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

Which project is featured at the free Kids Workshop?

Stop by our Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a box with a lid that slides on is a great way to hone listening abilities, creativity, and fine motor skills. This cute kids' project is happening on May 2nd, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
