How can I fix drafty windows?
As the years pass, windows settle and may not fit as snugly as they did before. Check if they're drafty by bringing stick of incense to the window. If you can see the smoke swirl around the window, that shows you where cold air is getting in through tiny gaps. Fill obvious spaces around windows with caulk. If your windows aren't snug in the frames anymore, use foam tape, weather stripping, or even a window insulation kit with sealing film to keep out cold air. Replace the windows as soon as possible.

What projects can I work on when it's cold outside?
In colder climates, it's challenging to work outdoors. However, a chilly day that's above freezing may be a good time to rake leaves or give the mulch in the garden a stir. A few days cleaning the garage or shed will pay off when spring comes. If your tools and gardening supplies are all set, tackle cleaning the rest of the house. Get out the cleaning supplies and cleaning tools, then give everything a good scrub.

How do I prepare for freezing temperatures and snow?
When you live in a region where snow may occur, it's smart to organize or upgrade your snow removal equipment before a winter storm hits. Check that the snow blower is working and accessible, then oil up the snow shovels. Don't forget to get out the sleds for the kids, and prep ice melt or salt and a salt spreader. Make sure your outdoor spigots are drained and covered, too, with all garden hoses disconnected. Doing this basic prep will help keep you ready for whatever winter weather brings.

      Customer Service
When I entered this store, I was greeted immediately. I asked for help finding what I needed. That person took me to that isle. They helped me in my decision process. Then I needed another item. They took the water heater to the front. I got a tool. That gentleman helped me so kindly. Then when I was checking out, Martina was so polite. She heard my concern about using all my cash while here visiting my son and helping him with his hot water heater. She offered to me a line of credit. We processed. Grettel was also assisting. I had had a name change and my back ground was flagged. Grettel insisted on getting this resolved. And she did. Every time I visit this store it is amazing. All employees are helpful and kind. Dallas, the manager, I met and thanked him for his team.

          Such a friendly/trained/helpful staff!
I was shopping for yard care products which I found with help for the staff. A great item was found with everything I was looking for and extra helpful items in the box. Staff checked the box and got everything required to complete the list. Wonderful help and a great price too. See Judy and Kobe, and Gustavo for yard care products - you will be happy.

                GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE
Went in to buy a stand for my saw. It was super busy, but the staff took care of me and got me item. They maintained true professionalism, even though they had to get my item from a top rack with a forklift.

                  Friendly Staff
I purchased gardening supplies and throughout the store I was greeted positively by most of the employees including management. The two associates at self checkout assisted with scanning my items. It was easy to scan my Military Discount. The rest rooms are exceptionally clean. I was happy to see a security guard on the property, I am sick of watching thieves walk out the store with baskets of merchandise without paying, it’s so discouraging. The only drawback of this Home Depot and others throughout the State are the number of migrants looking for work. If Home Depot is going to allow this to continue, perhaps they can meet with the workers and limit their activities to a specific part of the parking. They can discourage people from shopping based on your sense of security.
