Shipment home.
Had a shipment to my home of concrete wall block and additional big bags of soil and mulch and asked to see i sign the delivery so i can see they place it the correct place. I paid $79 for this shipment and it was delivered and not signed and of course not placed where we needed it to be. A bit disappointing as I have back issues and will need to carry one by one to where i wanted it and not out side the gate.

    Good store - bad customer service
    I went to Home Depot to check out the landscaping section. We just bought a house, and it desperately needs flowers. We picked up lavender and some flower seeds. We go to Home Depot about once or twice a month and it's been nothing but great service, but today went a little more rough. At self checkout there are signs saying if the employee does not ask us how to save money by signing up for a store credit card we would get a free soda and that piqued my interest. After checking out, I went to the attendant showed him my receipt and asked about the soda. He seemed confused (also it's worth noting the employee did not really speak clearly, and I could not understand a single word he was saying). I walked over the the terminal showed him the sign and my receipt, he then took me to another terminal and tried to ring me up for beef jerky. It was unclear if he was trying to cover his bases and talk to me about the promotion now, or was just trying to show how to work the terminal. I kept trying to explain the situation but the employee seemed confused and was not clearly explaining anything (if someone is physically unable to communicate with customers, they should not be upfront at the self checkout, otherwise how can people ask for help). Another employee noticed my frustration, and then came over. I attempted to explain the thing to her, and she just kind of shrugged. At this point, I spent over five minutes past my checkout time, trying to redeem this free soda and I just gave up. But I would like someone to clearly explain how to redeem this free soda and instead of being misled by false promotions.
      Staff does not go out of their way. More focused on their computers than customers.
      Speaks for itself. Training in customer service needed.
        Great Employees
        The staff at this location is accommodating, knows their products, and is generous with their time. Helping locate items or selecting a specific product has never been a problem.
          Kudos to the manager for recruiting and retaining an all-star workforce
          I really love this store, it doens't have the best selection (why do i have to go to the hillsboro location for hogwire and hogwire accessories?) BUT the staff is mindblowingly above and beyond. I have no idea what the manager here does to recruit and retain such a quality workforce. I'm autistic and apparently horrifically painful to deal with as a customer (I'm oblivious to this most of the time, I think I'm a great customer) but I also have brain damage, I get lost constnatly even if i premake my list, sometimes wondering the store for hours before I'm done. The staff never treats me with disrespect. I honestly feel so accepted when I shop here, whether that's in my head or not, I'm not sure, but I don't always feel that way at other stores, or even other home depot locations (I'm lookin' at you TIGARD!) but this location lets me let my freak flag fly, lets my brain damaged brain pile my cart high so high with items because i forgot what I went there for and keep getting distracted by things I need and they don't give me dirty looks. They just ask if I need help, and hey guess what I do! how do you install a mailbox anyway? oh, what's a self closing gate hinge? and while I have you, what's corten steel and why does it rust? ok this review is officially over, but i love this store!

              Great help.
              We are doing a kitchen makeover and needed 41 pull handles for our new cupboards. We checked at another home depot store that had bulk pricing, but not the handles we wanted. Rosanna an employee said she was empowered to give up to a $ 50.00 dollar discount because this store did not have bulk pricing. We got the handles and the discount . Rosanna went above and beyond to make us happy. Well done Rosanna.
