Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

How long is The Home Depot Spring Deals sale?

Find some of the best savings of the season with our Spring Deals. New tools help take care of that to-do list as the weather brings cheerful sunshine. It's also a great time for lawn and garden work outdoors, setting up new appliances indoors, and organizing your home with the perfect storage. Don't forget to upgrade your patio furniture and outdoor power equipment as well. Get everything done when you save during our Spring Deals sale that runs from April 23rd through May 10th. Shop fast to catch these bargains.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Be certain your home is equipped for wild temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If moisture gets in the cracks, you might be looking at trouble. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On the outside of your home, inspect metal roofs or shingles for rust or damage that can let water leak in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

What kinds of moving boxes do you have?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Why should I get a generator?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

When is the free Kids Workshop this month?

Stop by the Kids Workshop to encourage future builders and craftspeople! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this keepsake box. Constructing a trinket box with a sliding lid is a great way to sharpen creativity, fine motor skills, and listening abilities. This cute kids' project is happening on May 2nd, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
