Had a great experience at this store recently. Got excellent help from the guy in the paint department and then Hosne checked us out despite our bumbling at the self checkout. She was very helpful and kind. 10/10 would recommend!

The store was well lit; the items I was looking for were in stock; and, the store associates were plentiful, knowledgeable and friendly. However, the Asst Store Manger, Sue and Annie, went above and beyond all expectations in resolving a problem I had with a return. They definitely have an A++++ rating when it comes to knowledge and courtesy and made a good shopping experience and excellent one.

I have been shopping in the Home Depot Store in Selden since 1995, to get all my home improvement projects.

The workers who handle the lot (Chris and Matt) are excellent! They put my heavy items in my cart and then brought them out to my car and placed them in my truck. They were professional, courteous and joyful. And they would not take a tip ! What a pleasant experience shopping in the Selden store.

Poorly staffed, always with a LONG, confusing, disorganized checkout. Primarily as the store is always understaffed at the cashiers. The cashiers always unmotivated, and impolite.

Shopping at this store is never a problem. I never had trouble finding what I needed. Store associates are plenty and they are always pleasant and will assist you quickly. This Home Depot is always clean as is most of the Home Depots that I have shopped at.

I needed a product shelved in the paint department. I could not find it so I asked the employee, Chanel for assistance. She would not make eye contact and suggested I asked another department for assistance. I found a very nice employee in electric that provided assistance, and found the product. Sadly, I forgot to get his name so I would give him kudos.

I was very impressed with your employer Patrick. He handled himself very professionally, helped me get what I needed, helped me load my cart and saw it through the end by making sure it was loaded into my truck.

In Suffolk County, Long Island we have many home improvement stores to chose from. The Selden Home Depot stands out, even within the Home Depot chain, and is our first choice for home improvement and hardware purchases.

Asked for help with a heavy item told someone would be right there waited and waited mind you this was 8am and the store was empty found three employees chatting they said they would send someone over never happened finally I managed to flag someone down and they helped me after about 20min this is totally unacceptable .

I have been going to this store since it first opened, even through the time it had 24hr service, in the pass the store needed help with being clean and people but in the pass years there service has become very good and the store in much more organized and cleaned. I would recommend this store to anyone.

Today I wish to write about a STELLAR EMPLOYEE you have in your store by the name of Abby. I’m so glad my daughter saw her name tag. We had been searching all over Long Island for this Global Dinosaur LED light that recently went viral on Tic Toc with the kids. It changes colors and only sold at Home Depot (or on eBay for triple the price) When we went to our Local East Northport store they told us that it was sold out everywhere and that Selden was the only store with stock. We took the 45 minute drive and the older gentleman in that department said it was sold out and just walked away. That’s when Abby came over. She was so kind. Not only did she check inventory for us (it said 5 at that store) but she also got the big orange step ladder and combed through all the boxes above the signage. Turned out, one of the smaller boxes pushed in the back had the 5 Dino’s inside. It was like winning the lottery. This was a birthday present for a special boy and the fact that she was so caring and took the time to help us means the world to this family. It was worth the drive tenfold. Please give the praise to Abby (dark hair long ponytail) For making this child’s birthday special and for being the best example of a retail employee showing amazing customer service!

I was looking for a limited stock air conditioner this morning and after calling 2 other stores that didn't seem that interested to check the lady Lydia in this store went out of her way to help me . the people in this store seemed a lot more willing to help than the normal branch I go in.

my only issue today was when i checked out i showed the nice guy my veterans id and asked for the usual 10 pct off my purchase it was no big deal but when i walked out of store I noticed my discount was not applied this was no big deal but i was not going into the store to complain about a few dollars if someone shows the id they should get the discount i always shop at home depot my store is Nesconset but i was near this store so i went in i respect Home depot for their discounts and will continue to do my business at the home depot!!

The store was neat and clean, this trip was a great trip, but I needed a grill for father's day and the associate seemed to busy or didnt know how to help me. We had to find a cart, no one helped us load it, they just walked by us. A customer had to help my son and I. And then he didnt know that the grill I wanted could be purchased and assembled, he said I dont think we can do that, you would have to special order it. Needless to say I had to contact riverhead and I had to go pick it up. No one is selden offered to get it and bring it back for me. It was 500.00 dollars, the sale was almost lost.

Went to pick up a fire-pit and cover. Associate, Mr. Longstreet, brought our items outside for curbside pick up. He was friendly, wearing face mask and gloves, was professional and safe. Made the overall shopping experience much better.
