What do I need for my teen's college dorm?
Come see us for your dorm essentials. Get storage containers or moving boxes to transport your belongings, and cleaning supplies and disinfecting wipes to sanitize the space. Bring a tub of spackle to fill old nail holes and Command adhesive hooks to hang wall art and string lights. Extension cords and power strips let you place floor lamps, mini fridges, and countertop microwaves where you need them. If you didn't get a new backpack or underbed storage yet, we've got those, too. Be prepared to head back to college with helpful products from your Seneca Home Depot.
How can I prepare my home for summer?
Be certain your home is set for relentless summer heat by repairing faulty components of your hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If moisture gets inside the crevices, you might be in for a headache. On the exterior of your home, inspect shingles or metal roofs for damage that could let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.
Do you carry moving boxes?
Make storage or moving easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados or severe thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, remember that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
When is the next free Kids Workshop?
Stop by the Kids Workshop to encourage future builders and craftspeople! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this rocket game. Constructing a small wooden spaceship is a great way to hone fine motor skills, listening abilities, and creativity. This cute kids' project is happening on August 1st, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last.
