I went in to purchase a wheel barrow and I found one on display for $99. When I went to the register to purchase the wheel barrow, I was informed that it was not $99, but $199. I showed the front end sales associate the photos of the displayed price and she said "I'm sorry but that's not the price." I proceeded to purchase a different wheel barrow for $119 and put in a special order for a $370 lawn mower which took about 10 to 15 minutes, and within that timeframe, they still had not corrected the price of the wheel barrow of $99, to the register price of $199. A customer spends almost $500 and the store could not honor their mistake by offering the wheel barrow at a discounted price. Very poor management or just a very poor display of a "Bait and switch" tactic on the store's behalf.

I was looking for a can of paint for my deck floor and omg I not only found the color gray I wanted it was exactly what I wanted. A gray, weatherproof, and stain in one for ONLY 30$. And it’s the big one. 5gallons. 30$. So I’m very happy. I always find great deals on different stuff.

You need to hire more people. It seems whenever I need help I have to go hunting for a seales person and sometimes they are from different departments and can’t really help. Not too good for business.

I had ordered something from the Riverhead Home Depot for home delivery. They accepted the order and then one minute later they canceled it and said they were out. Meanwhile, online I could see they had tons of the item. I changed the order to the Shirley store and it was delivered the same day. Good job Shirley.

Shopped the lumber department on 4/11/2025 for boards to build raised garden beds. I would like to give a shout out to Anthony and Al in lumber, they were knowledgeable, friendly, and a great help. They offered assistance, helpful suggestions, and were a pleasure to work with. Chris, one of the managers in Shirley, was also there, greeted me and checked to see if I needed help. All ensured that I found what I needed and enjoyed the process.

So very glad I buy my paint here. Doing major renovation on my house. The colors are mixed perfectly by the Employees in the Paint Department, and they also remind me of items I may need. These folks are awesome+

Many times have I had to wait for a sales person to help me over 20 minutes and as much as a half hour with asking several tines for assistance. This is unacceptable I truly think home depot should take into consideration a customers time .I complained about this many times with no outcome / improvement / consideration .

I have to say I've had many negative views on this store in the past. Always had more luck at the Bellport store. I noticed things did improve somewhat and I'm wondering if there is new management in place. If so, give them a raise.

Great store to shop. Products are well organized and easy to find. Best of all, excellent customer service.

It doesn’t matter what I buy at Home Depot if I love it or not, they let me come back and return it until I got what was right. Every employee has helped me in every department to extreme extents and wire a smile. I know when I walk in that store if I need just flowers for planting or major building supplies I’ll find what I need.

Horrible horrible customer service, purchased propane exchange and waited by the garden center over half hour and when i came in to remind them that nobody came to garden, the cashier Jada said their all out of propane with a fresh voice tone. This girl is so lazy that she was eating chips instead of attending customers professionally. I think turtles walk faster than your employees. But I blame managers for being lazy just like the employees running that store. Extremely poor management.

This Home Depot has the best customer service and it’s easy to find everything that you need. I would definitely recommend it to others.

was able to find only one of four items available or as in the case of the bulbs for lighting a wall full of inferior, (from past experience) bulbs suspect companies

I shop at this store alot alway satisfied with store supply stock and general helpfulness of workers store cleanliness and ease of finding project supplies

During my recent visit I visited three departments.. in each department a store associate approached me to see if I needed help. They were all so helpful, friendly and l made great suggestions.. it was a great shopping experience
