I must say that the associate made all the difference during the store visit. I had questions about shingles to use on a large backyard shed we're constructing. He was so helpful and knowledgeable that I was able to make an immediate choice that had to be ordered and he placed the order for me at the Pro counter. I also needed guidance as to venting and windows to use and although his lunch break was near, he insisted on walking through the store to show me the available choices. I must say I was pleasantly surprised with this visit and I commend Home Depot for having the good sense to hire this individual.

The store was neat and everything was in its place where it should have been

I was delighted to work with Anna shaker on this matter, I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from this store in fact there are a few people(workers) that know me by name, I am looking forward to purchase more but waiting to settle on the carpet incident getting the run around, my husband and I still have lots to do both inside and out of this house.

Extremely dissatified with my visit today. Went to make quick purchase of blacktop crack filler and there was none on the shelf. Thinking that maybe the product was moved (I had purchased the same product several days earlier) I tried to locate an associate but none were to be found. Many other customers were walking around loudly complaining of the lack of help is several departments. After walking through the entire store, I found an associate that told me if the product was not on the shelf then they were probably out of stock. Asked if he had the scanner to check, he said no to ask someone else. This used to be my favorite Home Depot store but will probably shop elsewhere in the future. By the way, had to travel to another Home Depot to make my purchase.

I was very please with my service in the paint department. The Associate was available and was able to answer my questions. She also gave me information on a rebate on the paint I was purchasing and I was able to apply it online! The store is always organized and clean and I am able to find what I need. I have been using this location for many years and am usually able to find what I need!

I feel the department needs improvement. The shelves are not fully stocked, items should be under the samples and are not. Also laminate samples are not in the proper place.

A fun store to shop, GOOD prices, able to find sales associates

I have been to many Home Depots on the island and the Shirley, NY Home Depot has the most knowledgeable nd friendly helpful staff. The Bellport, Coram, Farmingdale, Centerreach and Riverhead locations should take some lessons from this store. I prefer this Home Depot to all the others and including the Lowes who I also feel needs a little more help in that field.

The moment I walked in and went to my section to search for a light fixture Tina came right up to me eager to help me find one that fitted my needs..I had previously purchased a different light fixture from a different Home Depot & was @ the Shirley location to exchange the other light fixture & hopefully find one that I loved! Tina took the time to help me & listen to what I wanted & showed me several options until I finally decided on the "right one" & then next we were on to the kitchen sink area which she assisted with as well as Rebecca! I was at the river head location & they did not have the sink in stock but Shirley did so here I was but I never expected them to be so helpful! They both found the sink & on top of everything else they assisted me with finding the correct faucet as well & even put the faucet in the sink to give me an idea of how it would look! I was beyond satisfied with the services & help these woman provided..I wish every store had associates this helpful! I had been to about 5 or 6 different Home Depots & these associates were by far the most friendlsy, patient & helpful..none of the other locations provided this kind of service sad to say but I will definitely be going back to the Shirley location for any & all of my home improvements needs! Thanks ladies you were awesome!!!!

Products were easy to find Sales associates were available Store could be CLEANER but overall, wasn't bad.

I ALMOST ALWAYS FIND MY PRODUCTS WHEN I SHOP AT THE SHIRLEY HOME DEPOT BUT WHEN I COULDN'T FIND SOMETHING, A NICE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE STORE IS ALWAYS HAPPY TO HELP ME:-)!

The store layout is easy to navigate. Associate easily available and always very helpful. I am a disabled veteran and appreciate he discount and the help in getting heavy/bulky items loaded into my vehicle. just wish that the assistants would accept a tip for the help.

Associate jimmy from electrical helped me with floor tiles and with a light fixture for my new kitchen. And with the light bulbs to highlight. Had a great experience with him.

Excellent place to shop! And I hate shopping! Went looking for a couple of things and found a whole new world of useful items I forgot I needed...so I bought them and went home happy and satisfied that I was finally well equipped to fix just about everything that needed fixing in my house.

Review title says it all. Never had a bad experience. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. If one person cannot help you they go out of their way to find someone who can.

I used the mobile site before visiting the store and found the items I was searching for in stock and where the app indicated they would be.
