Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of The Home Depot Spring Deals event?

Another huge spring sale is here, so prepare to save. Whether you're doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools or upgrading your home with new appliances, we've got what you want. Don't forget to check out our patio furniture, outdoor power equipment and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23–5/10 and enjoy your new products year-round.

What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?

Make certain your home is ready for spring temperature swings by replacing faulty components of your home. On your house's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofing for damage that might let water in. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to winter storms. Also, check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If water freezes in the cracks, you could be in for a headache.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Restore power in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop in May 2026?

Drop by our Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a keepsake box! Your little builder can assemble their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. The best part is decorating this unique box with stickers, so leave some time to place them just right.

Does the Somerset Home Depot offer Curbside Pickup?

Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with The Home Depot app. Select "Curbside with The Home Depot App" at checkout when shopping eligible Store Pickup items.
