Can I get Express Delivery?
Express Delivery is a same-day service that delivers products and job site supplies directly from your store to your door. Place your order by 4 p.m. local time to ensure delivery. Eligibility depends on local stock, item size, and driver availability. Set your local store online or in The Home Depot app to see if it's available. Qualifying items will show an Express Delivery tag in your shopping cart and at checkout (excludes aerosols, bulk orders, and custom mixed paint). Express Delivery orders may be subject to additional delivery charges.
How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?
Be certain your home is ready for summer heat by replacing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. If moisture gets inside the crevices, you might be dealing with damage. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On your house's exterior, examine shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that could let water leak in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.
What kinds of moving boxes do you have?
Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Restore power in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
Why should I get a doorbell camera?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
