Rude customer service associate.
I just wanted to exchange a pair of gloves given to me for Christmas for a larger size. Since I didn’t use the correct verbiage, they had to argue with me on just getting a simple store credit. I shouldn’t be made to feel like I’m wrong for just wanting to get something I needed. Unfortunately, Home Depot doesn’t carry a variety of sizes. I had to get something completely different. Horrible experience.

      Poor Customer Service
      Out of the three customer service representatives I spoke with, only one was reluctantly willing to help me complete an application for their credit card. Still, she gave false information, offering me a promo then immediately telling me that I actually did not qualify for it. I was using a promotional APR on the credit card and she said that I should call credit card customer service to make sure the interest rate she told me had actually been applied.

        Horrible customer service!
        Customer service was terrible. IAn associate pointed where I get keys made. No one was there to greet me and I saw the key hero machine. I was attempting to find code as requested on phone app. Then, after a few moments of not finding a code I turned to find an associate. An associate named Bruce was standing behind me watching me. I said, “I need help.” He replied, “ I know you need help, I was standing watching to see when you would ask for help.” I had never used the key hero service before and wish I could have received a positive customer service experience.

          Employees are very helpful and the store is always tidy when we go. It's rare that we don't find what we need. Great store to frequent for your building needs!!

            Customer service stinks
            I was in the store Sunday evening saw a sized or so large rolling tool boxes in an isle. The next day I went back and they had been moved...No big deal right? Wrong! I went back and forth through the whole store because the employees sent me on a wild goose chase. Finally found them on the last isle back half, no thanks to a single employee.

                What a great experience. This store has 2 of the nicest most helpful employees Caleb B & Addie. Caleb was amazing at helping us finding exactly what we needed and then going getting an item so we wouldn't have to. Then he went & made sure of a price. When we are in town we will definitely stop here again.

                              Terrible customer service
                              I called to have an order placed because Springfield was the only store with the flooring in stocked that matched the rest of my house. I gave the SKU# and still managed to be ordered the wrong flooring. It took a week for employees to figure out how to refund and cancel the order that their employee placed for me. I was also told it could be shipped to my house for $100 which never showed on my receipt only to find out they won’t ship from their store. I ended up having to drive there for my flooring which meant taking a day off work to make the drive there and back. Once i arrived to pick up my order i was given zero help loading other than “you’re gonna need them” when it came to strapping down my load. Overall it was just a bad experience that kept getting worse.

                                    Great store, great employees!
                                    I am not your typical woman becaise I typically do not enjoy shopping for anything, but home improvement stores are a different story! This store in particular always seems to have what I need in stock and has amazing associates to help. I'm not sire about other people but I hate when there is nobody to ask for directions to a needed item or assistance reaching an item but that is never a problem at this store. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

                                      Extremely friendly employees
                                      It is rare these days to find courteous sales people, but apparently not at the Springfield Home Depot. My first encounter was with Logan in the paint department. He greeted me with a smile and made sure I had everything I needed My cashier Sherri was also very friendly and saved me money by mentioning a credit card that I could sign up for. Our conversation was so nice that I didn’t want to leave

                                        just moved to Springfield from Atlanta. I lost my HD card and was apprehensive about making purchases out of my hometown location. Haley hit the high bar. I haven't experienced this level of customer care in Atlanta, and I've been in Gwinnett since 1992.

                                            Great shopping experience.
                                            We bought some DeWalt products very pleased with them. And was happy to get the sale prices. Enjoyed my shopping experience everyone was very helpful and very informative. Will definitely be shopping with The House Depot again. Got great deals on appliances we purchased a stove refrigerator a hood and multiple DeWalt and tools as well.

                                              Hunting the hard to find light bulb
                                              Went to the other big box store, large selection of bulbs, slow to find help, no bulb. Help was not very interested in my need. Went to Home Depot, greeting lady was so very kind and was interested in what I needed, pointed me in the right direction. Looked at the light bulbs, did not have to hunt someone to help. Steven approached me, was friendly, helpful and made looking for the illusive bulb fun. He found what I needed. Sheri the cashier was great, friendly. Whole experience was great and I have the correct bulb for 94 yr old mom

                                                  Just an ok trip
                                                  Had been just a normal trip to HD until I went to pay. I went through a self check out register marked for cash use. I had $4 and change coming back to me. The machine gave me the change but no dollars. The young lady over the area knew exactly what to do but could not without manager approval. She tried to contact the manager but the manager was not on the premises. It took about 10 extra minutes of me standing in front of a register while the manager was located and gave the lady helping me the ok to give me my change. All this time a register is out of service. Would be nice if the employee actually there on duty, who knows what to do, was authorized to do what it takes to rectify a situation instead of having to call around to get authorization to do what she already knows needs done.

                                                    Asked for help multiple times, drove 45 minutes one way and waiting an hour in the store staring at the item in up-stock that I could not get assistance with.
                                                    My local Home Depot was out of stock of the Ridgid 3 Gallon 18v cordless vac but a store about an hour away showed 18 in stock. I had decided to make the drive to as I needed it sooner than shipping would be. I arrived at the store around 6:30, there were none of these on the shelf so I asked an associate for help locating it. They were very friendly but only looked at a couple boxes right above it before telling me the did not have them. I proceeded to look on my own and found them in an up-stock a few aisles down and asked someone at the front for assistance, after waiting 25 minutes I returned to ask for assistance again. Another 15 minutes passed and I had found an associate on my own who said they'd get a lift to help me. After waiting another 15 minutes and watching a lift pass that aisle at least two times. I had given up and left without the item. I cannot begin to explain how disrespected I felt, I wasted over 2 hours driving to the store, and another hour on trying to get help. After not getting assistance locating it and finding it on my own, I wasn't very bothered, but after standing in an aisle for an hour while staring at the product I wanted but could not get I am obviously upset. For 3 hours and wasted gas I basically got to see the box of the item from 15 ft away.

                                                      Women restroom.
                                                      My wife is handicap and has to use a wheelchair. She can't open the bathroom door without assistance. The door mechanism needs to adjusted for easier opening. I have complained to several employees, including management, at the store over several months with no results.

                                                        My trip to Home Depot today was super! I was in and out quickly with everything I needed, and the staff offered help for me in loading my car. That impressed me greatly! Thanks, Gail and Home Depot!
