How do I cut down on window draftiness?
When your windows have a lot of condensation, frost, or mold, you likely need to reseal or replace them. If you can't install new ones now, seal them with caulk, weather stripping, or a window insulation kit. Use mold and mildew removers first though, and wear a respirator to avoid inhaling it. Fill any other gaps with foam tape and cover window a/c units as well to keep the cold air outside. These steps should help stop the draftiness until you can replace the windows.

What can I work on when the weather is cold?
In colder climates, it's challenging to work outdoors. However, it may be a great time to clean up your indoor workspaces instead. Some time organizing and cleaning the basement, shed, or garage will pay off when spring comes. You won't have to replace lost hand tools because you can find what you've got. Polish up the tools, clean the rest of the house with cleaning tools, and you'll be ready when it's planting time.

Use chainsaws to remove dead or broken branches from trees. Trimming damaged wood keeps your trees healthier. Oil up your Makita chainsaw before using it, and swap out any dull or rusted chains.           Store is great, UNLESS you have a Return (not the employees fault)
          The store is very convenient for me, has most everything they carry in stock, the hours are good, and the Employees are helpful. However, recently I purchased an item I did not need and so returned it. HD's return policy (specific to Gift Cards) is difficult and insulting. They require you to provide an ID and issue a "store credit" card that can only be used by the person possessing the picture ID. Doesn't even matter if the amount of purchase was very small. Giving Store credit is fine; making you provide an ID and use that ID when you complete the purchase is a "JERK" move that only serves to track customers unnecessarily, and discourage returns. This policy makes me want to avoid Home Depot despite the convenience and good employees!

            Nice fall day, mid day - open the garden center entrance!
            I was disappointed that the garden center entrance wasn’t open on a beautiful fall day, mid week and mid day. I had planned for easy shopping to buy garden soil. I wound up having to trek through the store twice. I just had hand surgery so I was looking for an easy experience.

                Try and actually listen to your customers. If they want an email receipt. Let them have one. This is the 4th time at this location employees purposefully skipped the email receipt after I asked for it

                    I had an issue with how a product was prepared for me. I am not the type to be surprised that mistakes are made, in fact they are going to happen. But I am a person who greatly values how the store is able to rectify the issue with care and professionalism. These guys have done that for me and I give them five stars for my experience with how they dealt with this problem. Particularly Sarah from the Customer Service department. She was pivotal to taking care of the several hundred dollars mistake. Because of this, they will continue to get my business because I love how they handled their mistake.
