Great store with a whole bunch of helpful employees! They deserve some kudos!

This is the only Home Depot store we shop at, primarily due to its location to our home and the assistance provided by the employees. Besides our general contractor using this Home Depot for a large part of the products/supplies needed for the remodel of our Master and Guest Bathrooms, Kitchen, Bar, and Garage we have purchased two side-by-side refrigerator freezers, a stand-up freezer, 85-gallon water heater, electric stove, upscale micro-wave, home window treatment, carpet, Weber Gas BBQ Grill, BBQ accessories, smoking pellets, salt pellets for our water softener, paint for the interior and exterior of our home painting supplies, truck rental, outdoor power tools, batteries, plants, flowers, garden hoses and associated attachments, insulation for the attic, and day-to-day cleaning products since our return to the states in October 2015. Our Shih Tzu's love going to this store, the staff have always been friendly and especially so when our 'fur kids' are with us; the staff has always provided assistance to us when we needed it. So the bottom line we appreciate this store being where it is, we like the products it offers, we like the staff that assists us (the store does appear to have a large turnover in employees). The only problem that I continue to have is the Military Discount; I always show my Military I.D., they always thank us for our service and we reply in kind but with my experience on 7/4/2021 while the cashier acknowledged my Military I.D. she did not apply the discount. Shame on me for not checking the receipt but I find it rude, after showing my Military I.D. card to ask the question, "did you apply the discount?" - given the cashiers are adults, they acknowledged the military association, and subsequently push bottoms on their computer it appears they do not check the data before closing out the purchase. When I have caught it, instead of the cashier fixing the error right there and then, you have to go to customer service and wait in line wherein the issue is resolved. Unfortunately when you are on a tight schedule, as I was after this purchase, when I reviewed the receipt in the car before leaving the parking lot - the process, for this particular day to resolve the problem actually caused a bigger problem. Just wish the overall professionalism shown by the employees throughout the store would apply equally as well to the cashiers when they are provided the proof of a customer's military association and they do their due diligence so that the customer does not have to ask "did you apply the discount?"

It's the cleanest store I have been too.

Employees are helpful and friendly and willing to help no matter what time of day or night.

When the associates see that you are struggling to lift a heavy item. I would expect them to offer help and not wait to be asked for help.

I like to visit this store because it is easy and quick for me to get to. The staff are always polite and helpful. Products I usually purchase are in stock and the displays are neat and accessible, giving me an opportunity to see additional products I may want to purchase.

Love coming to this store! Everyone is so nice and friendly. I was helped by a bright young girl Sam at the service desk. And in hardware I was assisted quickly and efficiently by Brittney. The help of these ladies makes me want to return to the store!

This store has hired more employees in order to handle their customers in a better timely fashion.

Home Depot has products I need but checking out at this store is horrible. Only a couple of cashiers and people lined up down the isles and employees frustrated. This store is poorly managed.

Don't use HD's same day delivery for important projects. They fail to deliver and fail to communicate.

Poor customer service at the returns area. Employees appear to be more interested in chit chat then helping the customers waiting in line. They don’t even bother to look towards the line, keeping their backs to them. Thus us a routine observation on the multiple times I have needed their attention. Very very disappointing!!

Cashier, Abigail, was one of the rudest people I have ever met! She totally treated and spoke to me like I was a 2 year old!!! She jerked the cart so hard, she almost knocked me over. Bear in mind that I have a full leg brace on my leg due to a fractured patella. No apology. Rang up purchase and I advised her that I had a MILITARY ID - which she then proceeded to ignore! Never gave a total, so I wrote the check for what appeared on screen ($30.87) . She then decided that I had to walk two registers over to sign for check. Didi not bag purchases. No thank you, no have a good day nothing! Checked slip, total was $37.17, not what I wrote check for. On top of it, never gave a military discount! Wonder how she got the job with her attitude. I had to go through Customer service to make the purchase correct. A lot of walking with a fractured patella and a heavy brace. Let's just hope she never decides to be a nurse or work in a nursing home!!! Seemed like I wasted a whole lot of time for such a big headed person!!! She should probably find a job where she doesn't have to deal with people!!

The Sun City Center Home Depot location is always very clean and I enjoy shopping there. I find the staff helpful and informative. When I have ever asked questions and needed an opinion the staff has always taken time with me.

I am a former Home Depot employee (trainer). Store 6951 in Ruskin greets and assists customers in the manner Home Depot teaches. The associates are friendly and ready to assist to all the customers. This includes the average non professional consumer.

This is the review, It is simple Just Great service/And good prices on great produces. ask for help and you will get it. Prices are clear . and best of all good prices. This is a busy store and employees ,are there to help.
