Gentleman named Ruben helped me in selecting small heaters for my home . He was clear in explaining how they worked , and my wife and I are very happy with the purchase. Great and kind knowledgeable staff.

Was looking for some flooring and David Lily helped me he was wonderful. I normally don’t shop Home Depot but I ended up going back two days later to look for more stuff.

Summer helped me put my entire order together. She demonstrated great knowledge and expertise! The order went smoothly and was delivered without incident. Thank you also to Leah, Brandon and everyone in customer service! What amazing friendly service they provided!!

Bought a blower that was on a pallet and two gentleman pulled it down for me with a machine . One guy was Greg and the other was robin. They were courteous and kind. Good job as I was able to get in and out fast for my job.

I don't often have time to do reviews, but this curbside delivery kid today at the T.O. location totally surprised me with his genuine care for me being taken care of and satisfied. I've never done curbside pickup before. Always figured I could just walk in and pick up faster. Nope. This kid and another one going to another car were all over this service. They kept saying, 5 mins or less! And they made it happen!

Went in for a wireless chainsaw for the needs of a nonprofit (See, safe-ca.org). Wasn't available as a kit w/ battery & charger. With Eddie's recommendation and the support of Manager Jessica, got a sawzall that did the job at an excellent price.

Constant friendly help from back to front. Front cashiers always helpful and cheerful. It’s my toy store. Gift cards from my kids for birthdays and father’s days.

The employees at the store were the BEST!

I was impressed last week when I went to return two items and buy a few items at how nicely the staff treated me. I'm a single mom and homeowner who usually feels like a stranger in big-box stores. But, not this time, not at this store. I left feeling good. I got everything I needed with ease.

I was having issues with the hot water heater at my house. I went online and found exactly what I wanted in stock at Newbury Park. Home Depot my local store, good price went in with my dolly loaded it paid for it, put it in the truck brought it home and installed it. Whole job took me about four hours home by the way I have American home shield insurance, but they wouldn’t handle it for.me So I got it done with good old Home Depot thanks again

Great service by Sofia and her coworkers in the pickup area. We ordered a generator online to be delivered at the store. They were very friendly and helpful in getting the large item into our SUV.

Just wanted to give a shout out to the employee Jim F who went above and beyond to help me with finding some products. He was kind, courteous and very knowledgeable about how to tackle a problem I had excellent customer service so thank you!

This Home Depot is huge. I’ve been shopping Home Depot’s in many locations for a long time. This store does take some time to figure out. But it is nice to have the selection so readily available.

Last month, I contracted through the Home Depot - #6662, Thousand Oaks, California, for the installation of a vinyl planks flooring in 3 bedrooms and the master bedroom in my home. All of the Home Depot team members I interacted with were great. In particular, Mr. David Lillie, the Design Consultant, Flooring Specialist was very courteous and helpful. He exhibited his knowledge and experience, in helping the project go smoothly, from start to finish. He patiently recommended the needed materials and helped me and my wife in selecting the proper vinyl plank, then he processed the detailed installation order in the system, paying attention to all the multiple details. Once I picked up the additional non-stock material that David ordered, I contacted the J W Floor Covering, the Home Depot contract installers, and their helpful, and courteous, representatives, Angelina, and Veronica, arranged for the installation of the vinyl flooring in my home by their installers, Joel Taracena, and A. Chamale, who were very prompt and completed the about 635 square feet vinyl floor installation project, which included some furnisher moving, carpet removing, floor preparation, and plank installation in 2 days. There work was professional, and clean. we were happy with the new flooring. Thanks to all the Home Depot, and the JW Flooring Teams.

I used to hate this store. Sincerely. No one wanted to help me even when they could. These days the staff is much more focused on helping customers like me.

I bought a new refrigerator frome the online store - first delivery drivers was great. Unfortunately the bottom of the fridge was split open , which we noticed after we got it out of the box. Seemed like it was puncture about 5 in x 5 in with insulation spilling through and the bottom drawer shattered (maybe from a forklift or shipping?). Called the 800 number for the worst costumer experience of my life. Told refunds and returns would take 3 - 4 weeks and just to buy a new one in the mean time, but the new one would cost more...asked to speak to a supervisor and placed on hold.... hung up after an hour and 15 mins listening to the stupid hold music loops. Called the Thousand Oaks location and the team was excellent. The manager got things straightened out right away - kind, helpful, and gave me a small credit for the inconvenience. New fridge arrived next morning along with a truck to pick up the broken one. I will never use the online store again.

I always find products to clean the home

Every time I've gone to this store, whether to make a key or buy a grill, I have received excellent customer service. The store is well stocked and clean but the staff are why I return.

I can't say enough good things about April, Tony and Gene. They have all be absolute rock stars every time I am in there.

Leah, employee the Thousand Oaks Store, helped us to resolve an improper delivery of an item we didn’t order. The wrong product also didn’t arrive until a month after we ordered it. Leah was great with resolving this appliance order debacle.

How can a corporation formed by Bernie and Arthur that prides itself on the model that they launched their tremendous success with having knowledgeable staff in the aisles to talk to about DIY renovation and repair projects all the way up to full construction custom home building lose their focus on how they obtained the lion share of the construction industry respectfully? The short answer is, inexperienced young children are the replaced leaders in the stores. Thousand Oaks Home Depot has more knowledgeable employees than any other Home Depot in the surrounding area. The numbers on their orange apron says it all. A young girl that can barely form a sentence that has a five on it and says Manager has to walk us over to a guy that has a number over 20 on it and run away. Only to return to the person again with the over 20 on it with another customer before we are finished, rushing us along so the next customer can be given some insight. Then the child manager is disrespectful and rude to the experienced employee for not finishing up with us faster. I'm frightened to think about how they treat the employees that they manage and supervise outside of the presence of costumers with all of their inexperience and insecurities that are undeniably present. What kind of hostile work environment that this creates could be considered as acceptable? When it ain't broke don't fix it. Put the experienced people back in charge, not the children who do not even know how to be respectful to another human being. The five stars are for the experienced orange smocks this store has. They are even more awesome witnessing face to face what they endure in their work environment on top of their tremendous helpful knowledge. Respectfully submitted.

Whether it's appliances, paint, plants, lighting, whatever you need, the staff is always friendly, very helpful, and willingness to assist, in person, as well as by phone. Always a pleasure to shop in this store.

I'm in this store a lot. I often needs things that aren't stocked or have some kind of specialty to them. Gene and Tony always go above and beyond to help me out. ALWAYS! I just can't thank either of them enough. And as far as checking out goes, April rules. If she isn't at the register, then I'll do self check out. She is fast friendly and knowlegable and is a true asset to your store.

This location is worth the drive, it’s SO much better than our Oxnard store, no comparison. Employees were helpful, available and friendly.

Just bought a gas dryer, the fair price wide selection

All the products worked well.

I prefer the Newbury Park store rather than the Camarillo store as it feels like a better layout. I also feel like there are more employees available.
