My Husband and I were on the hunt for a purchase of a BBQ. After checking stock at Home Depot.com we drove from Ojai to Thousand Oaks. The experience we had was awesome. Sam from gardening walked by while we were looking at BBQ's and asked if we needed any help? From that point on Sam helped us with our purchase, taking us to the check out, loading it into our truck and making sure we got the propane tank. It was wonderful to have such great customer service. A huge thank you to Sam!

If you are lucky enough to have Nathan in the flooring department help you, you will have a very good experience at Home Depot. He is SO nice and helpful, and friendly.

The store is great but they must have more associate around just in case some people need help.

Couldn't find a part in the electrical department.. Couldn't fine anyone to help. When I finally did he was almost rude and no help.

Went to Home Depot to purchase a kitchen faucet. After finding the faucet, I saw that the slot for the new boxed faucets was empty. Associate Michael Alba had asked while I was looking if I needed anything, which I didn't at the time. After seeing the slot empty, I then asked Michael for his help. He quickly scanned the item and noted that they were indeed out of that specific faucet. He then let me know the estimated arrival date of more faucets and offered to check inventory at neighboring Home Depot stores. He also offered to substitute a similar but more expensive faucet for the same price as the original faucet. After never having an associate offer to this before, it worked out perfectly and saved me a trip to either another store or from shopping at a competitor's store. He finished our conversation by handing me his business card and said to let him know if I ever needed any additional help. Home Depot retained their customer (me!) and I was happy to leave with a new faucet in hand. Home Depot should clone this guy - seriously. He was great!

Store associate in plumbing was extremely helpful is locating pipe. Even went in back to find out if more there. Then took me to tool section to help find a particular tool.

Help is still hard to find. Home depot is chronically understaffed as usual

Great is the word I say every time I go to Home Depot either I'm going in or out or being asked how am I doing!

I especially liked the checkout experience. The cashier was Absolutely wonderful (ROFEL)

I seem to have the floor plan memorized. Zip into the front door, head for my needed product and know that I can be "hands on" within minutes. On that rare occasion I need some input or advice I can always find an associate to lend me a hand.

This probably was the 500th trip to this home depot and I have always been satisfied with the selection and the customer service!

The store has a great number of things the DIY kind of person can just walk around and shop for. It makes you think of jobs to do...even if they were not planned originally.

THis store is always neat and clean. The employees are always very helpful when asked a question. I shop here each time I need something the Home Depot offers.

I went to Home Depot to look for tile for a bathroom remodel. I had no idea what I wanted, and intended to browse the tile selection. However, I ran across an associate that was very knowledgeable about tile and extremely helpful. He suggested different designs and shared his expertise with me. I returned to the store several different times, and each time he spent as much time as I needed answering questions.

Every store associate was helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable. All these elements help to make what can be an overwhelming experience, manageable and relatively stress free.

We love coming to this store where everyone is friendly and helpful. We've been there so much that we are staring to know the employees. LOL The gardening center is my favorite place to shop at this store while my husband is trying to figure out his next home improvement project in the other departments. If we need help there is always someone there to assist with a friendly smile.

I've been a customer since 1991 I find the managers & cashiers the most helpful. Especially EFFIE! and the night return and self check out cashier, I love them!! Sorry, I cant think of your names now, but we know each other. The paint dept is outstanding! The floor staff is hit & miss,too. Its 50/50 ignored or extremely helpful. PPL are PPL. I like the retirees, but this store loses the good ones because they make them work every weekend. I miss Rudy in the garden,very knowledgeable,a PH.D and published author! These ppl are gold and you treat them like lead. This store is hit & miss on stock and often returned damaged items are on the shelves missing parts. The counter tops, wood etc are marred and bowed. Must inspect every item CLOSELY. I often will drive down the grade to the Camarillo store after, it doesn't have this problem. Also, the products are easier to see and more accessible, so I can actually see them without staining my neck. Its worth the gas driving back up the grade!

we have been shopping at the T.O. Home Depot for over 16 years now and always find what we need. When we need help from an associate, there is always someone who has the answers that we need. Friendly, well stocked and helpful. We keep coming back again and again

Very conveniently located, near to the freeway. Always has all that I needed, the associates are very helpful. I will update this if possible with the names of a few associates next time - they are extermeley knowledgable and provide ample guidance in the buying experience and made me feel that I am buying the right things. Overall, great store!!
