Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there an appliance sale for the Spring Deals event?

Another huge spring sale is here, so prepare to save money. Whether you're upgrading your home with new appliances or just doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools, we've got what you want. Be sure to check out our mulch, outdoor power equipment and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from April 23rd through May 10th and enjoy your new products all year long.

Is it important to replace broken chimney caps?

Be certain your home is equipped for springtime weather changes by repairing faulty components of your home. On the outside of your house, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for damage that could let water seep in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to winter weather. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If water freezes inside the cracks, you might be dealing with damage.

Do you offer moving boxes?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop in May?

Drop by our Kids Workshop from 9–noon on May 2nd. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this cute keepsake box that fits all sorts of tiny treasures. Constructing this kid-sized trinket holder is a great way to encourage listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. Team up with your little one to make this fun craft while supplies last. Remember to leave plenty of time to decorate your box with stickers!
