We're promoting social distancing in our stores and distribution centers, which includes stores limiting the number of customers inside at any given time. In addition to training our associates on social distancing, we've placed distancing markers at some of our checkout counters and are making overhead announcements on our store PA systems asking customers to practice social distancing.

Joe and Bryan in appliances were EXCEPTIONAL at getting the appliance I needed ordered, with a Price Match (Lowe’s), and delivered to our new home in TX. Neither 1-800-HOME-DEPOT or the local Home Depot near our new house seemed interested in assisting me with the process. Joe and Bryan made it happen! They were exactly the employees that I loved to associate with when I worked for The Home Depot several years ago. They were friendly, knowledgeable and genuine in assisting me.

Hands down, the best Customer Service of any hardware store in the valley! when I go into this store, I know I will find what I need, and find it quickly. It is clean, well-laid-out and easy to navigate. And, when you need help, there are many people who can help. Today, for example, I couldn't find a certain type of plastic tubing. I found an Employee who was up to his eyeballs with stuff he was trying to display. He stopped what he was doing, walked me over to the correct spot, and found exactly what I needed! His name is Paul, but he was just one of many that are there to help.

We’ve been to 3 Home Depot stores in the 6 months since we purchased our house. In general, we’ve been shocked at the blatant disregard for customer service, but this visit really took the cake. We stopped in after work to buy a couple of items to trim out the shop we just built. We chose paint colors and went to look for the other materials while the paint was mixed. In the lumber section we searched all over for the trim boards, but couldn’t locate them. We found a nice young kid arranging carts and asked for his help, he explained that he didn’t normally work in lumber but that he would find someone to assist us. He approached a man in a forklift and began to ask, the man on the forklift told him “No, no, go away” the kid approached him closer and started to speak again while pointing toward us, the older man looked down the isle directly at my wife and I, then flipped the rear of the forklift around violently nearly striking the kid and said something else to him. You could tell right away that the kid was upset, he immediately deflated and hung his head, then turned back to us, we told him it was ok, and that we hoped he had a good night. We took our paint (because it would be wrong not to) and left. I understand a single incident, but this is ongoing, with multiple stores and is getting worse! I hope that poor kid goes to work somewhere else, where he’s not treated badly by his supervisors and learns that kind of treatment is unnecessary. I think we’ll take that (already paid off) Home Depot card and close the account, and find somewhere else to purchase our home improvement materials.
