Hadn't been to the store for a while but had a very positive trip so will continue going back

Store is clean and well organized. The associates at the service counter are very knowledgeable and helpful. The associates on the floor are not trained in specific product lines to help the uneducated consumer. I found this to be true in lighting, and floor covering. Appliance department is the exception. They were helpful in the buying process.

This store is always super clean and organized but finding someone to help you will most likely take 5-10 minutes of walking around looking for someone. Even if you do find someone, the usually have to call the person for that department. Love the merchandise, don't like extending my trip looking for help.

The store is clean. Products are easily found. Associates are always willing to help no matter what department you are in.

ARIC WAS VERY QUICK & ACCURATE WITH GETTING OUR 10+ GALLONS OF PAINT. HIS SYSTEM WAS A SCIENCE TO WATCH. AND, HE DID THIS WITH A SMILE. AT THE CHECKOUT WE MET OSIRIS. A LOVELY LADY INDEED. UNFORTUNATELY OUR HOME DEPOT CARD DECLINED AS WE HAD NOT USED IT FOR A LONG TIME. SHE TOOK THE TIME TO GET US A NEW ONE. SOME YOUNG KIDS WOULD HAVE TOLD US TO GO HOME AND CALL CUST SERVICE AND YOU WOULD HAVE LOST THE SALE. REBATE ON PAINT, MILITARY DISC AND GREAT SERVICE = PERFECT DAY AT HOME DEPOT. ;)

lots of employees walking around, no one wanted to help. self check out sucks. if I wanted to run a check out register, I would apply at Walmart.

I'm a reasonable person but when I make it clear I need help and am assured that the people outside will help me and no one asks or approaches me (they make eye contact tho,several times, even walking by me & my half loaded cart) ... simply put I'm disappointed in the lack of customer service!!!! I'll be back only because I have a gift card to use!!

Service people were readily available, helpful and friendly.

this story does real well at keeping the carts cleaned up and keeping the flatcarts available for contractors

Overall the store is good usually has the products I need, if not most can be found online and shipped to the store. The only negative I have is that as a home improvement store most shoppers will be in trucks or larger vehicles and the parking lot does not really fit those types. If I'm picking up small items in my small car it's fine, but when I'm in my truck the parking gets a little tight.

Nice clean store with friendly employees. They are happy to assist you, and if they are unable to answer the question, they will gladly find someone who can. My purchase was Behr Paint and the colors were perfect!

Home Depot #2207 in Topeka, Kansas is a wonderful store to go to for all your home improvement, home care needs. When I visited it seemed like where every I went in the store there was always a very helpful and cheerful employee very happy to say hello and ask if I was finding everything OK, and if not, they guided me to where the items I was looking for were located. Each employee was very knowledgable where to find different items within the store, etc. The store layout makes it easy to locate items for sale. I have used Home Depot for many years for purchasing doors for my home, cleaning items for the exterior of my home and my deck, hardware, wood stain, paint, flowers, and the list could go on and on. The store is very organized, clean. The employees are very knowledgable and very cheerful and happy to help customers with their needs. The cashiers are very kind, helpful, cheerful.

You do not have to wander around to look for help they come up & ask if they can help! Always, a clean store.

If you need something in the way of home products if it's lumber, cleaning supplies, nut & bolts, door knobs etc don't bother going to a "big box" store just come to Home Depot not only will you almost always find what you need but will also have a great shopping experience with great prices and friendly employees to help you find "just what you need". I'm glad to say that my family and a lot of our friends shop at Home Depot.

looking for a belt for my toro mower but could not get any help bought an item went to check out and this real nice lady helped me check out. i left went to orchelans and they sent me to a place i got the belt needed. too bad home depot was so busy not to help me. maybe next time if there is one

When I and my husband was looking for a lawn mower the store employee was very friendly and helpful to us to decide which mower might work well for us. After reviewing the specs online I decided place an order online and pick it up at the store. It was ready to be picked up as promised.

The lawn & garden department was beautiful, clean and neat. The salesclerk and the gentleman who loaded the garden soil were very helpful friendly, and prompt.

The service help I got on my last visit was EXCEPTIONAL. Especially with one particular employee. He was knowledgeable to the "Nth" degree

This Home Depot store could serve as a training ground for all Menard's and Lowe's new employees. Seriously.

Venessa is an associate in doors and windows and is very knowledgable about the products that are available and precise with the needed measurement to make sure the right size is ordered.

Brenda,and Yami at Customer Service were outstanding during last day Black Friday sales and the young guys loading mulch were very helpful, pleasant,and professional.

If you are looking for an appliance Brady Smith is the man! Everyone in the store is helpful and friendly.

This store does not accept my Kansas Drivers License that states " Veteran " on it as a valid Military ID. Even though the state of Kansas requires Veterans to provide their DD 214 for this designation
